One early morning in the middle of the night, two dead boys got up to fight. Back to back, they faced each other, drew their swords and shot each other. A deaf policeman heard the noise, came and killed the two dead boys. If you do not believe this lie is true, just ask the blind man, he saw it too!

It does appear that the link is not working at the moment. Off hand I am not sure who runs the site so I am not sure who to contact to find out what the problem is. However, correct me if I am wrong, but isnt the Tutorial essentially the same thing that is in the DesktopX Documetation?

Alexandrie has been playing with the site design/look. I'd blame her!
Zork also inspired me to start programming. One of the first things I wrote my self (and not copied out of a magazine) was a little game/ai thing that acted similar to zork. You would enter in your name, and then it would ask you some questions and then make some random comments based on your answers. Nothing very pretty thats for sure. But that was the start of my programming life.
But Zork is a complete text game. Almost like reading a book as to where you get to use your imaginization to place yourself in the Great Underground Empire as you see it! I played it for a few minutes this morning (don't tell Frogboy) and yes, I thought it was as good as I remember. I personally would love to see some new text adventure games. They can be fun!
Yes as it stands only Wizops and Admins can submit a skin to be featured.
I just logged on to #stardock this morning too find the welcome message was reminiscing about the game of Zork. So PJ Powell and I played a litle bit of our own version online. But it got me wondering if I can still find the old Zork games. So I set out on a quest to search the Internet. Sure enough I found a site with the games (on my second try) so I thought I would share it with all of you! http://www.csd.uwo.ca/Infocom/ Have some fun! Go play Zork!
Oh, so much to do, so little time. Your suggestions are not in vain. It is our intention to implement the cross library search. The reason it hasn't been done yet is that I just haven't gotton to that one yet. Unfortunately I am directing more of my time to working on a new component manager for Drengin so I haven't been able to devote as much of my time to WinCustomize. But its still on my list! I will get to it! I just don't know when. <img src="http://images.stardock.com
From iBetaElite "A virus is spreading around the Internet like wildfire. It is called "Jerry" and it affects MSN Messenger. Basically the file hooks up to the MSN executable, running in the background, and offers the people that you chat with a pic (PIC1324(1)(1)(1)(1)(1)(1).exe) which in fact is the virus' installer. The virus is not smart, in that it offers instructions on how to remove it. If you are infected, follow these instructions: Hi I come in piece. My name is Jerry. The

If you haven't tried this tutorial yet, give it a shot! http://www.mis-online.co.uk/
I'd tell ya my history but it looks like Frogboy pretty much covered it all. But he did forget to mention that at the time he was a 15 year old geek!
Ok, looks like I have it up and running again!
Hmmm, I like the idea! It would give a new meaning to sending the kids to their room!
Maybe next time around. Depending on how successful the sale of the shirts and hats are we will eventually bring in different designs/logos/slogans and etc. And then you would have a wider selection to choose from. But one step at a time.
I'll take a look at it when I get back in the office Monday!
Hmm, and when Frogboy updates this skin, where do you think it will show up. You got it, in the newest additions list. I know its a conspiracy!
Is this the Grateful Dead Thread?
You can inititially download from WinCustomize without having to create a login (sorta a free trial to the site). However, after download so much we do then require people to create a free account. However, as stated above, we do not sell our names or email addresses. We respect your privacy. Admin T-Man
Its still in beta. Hopefully by the time its 1.0 we will have documentation with it.

Looks like they are having some startup pains. I was just on it and sometimes a page would load, other times it would not.
I do plan on doing some enhancements to the site to make it more 'Newbie' friendlier. Just haven't gotton to it yet. But one of the things I want to do is modify the Community section so we can categorize the links in there (Apps, News, Tutorials, SkinSites, etc....) Maybe this weekend I will be able to get around to some of it.
In most cases the moderators give a brief description of why a submission has been rejected. But due to the volume of new submissions that is received it is not feasable for them to give lengthy comments on each rejection. In theory it would be great if they did that, but realistically, it would consume too much of their time.
