I do have a backend file for the featured skin. However I'm not quite ready to make it public yet because I a may need to change the format (Creating this for another site). I also plan to create a back end for Top Skins and Newest Skins as well. When they are ready to go public I will announce them.
Moderation has also been stepped up more recently as well. In the beginning most submissions were being accepted. However, as Jafo stated, we are trying to raise the bar a bit. So what may have been accepted 2 or 3 months ago may not make it now.

The Top10 downloads is updated every day at approximately 1:00 am. However, one of the things that we do is only show the Top 3 items per category. We do this so that other categories can get exposure. Other wise, the Top Ten would consist of only a couple of categories. Depends on how big you make it. I'm not sure off hand what our size restrictions are but 1MB is a good size. But 2MB I think would be stretching it. Also try to come up with a screenshot that gives some idea of the contents of the zip file(s).
Migellito, well said! WinCustomize is 'A Shopping Mall' of skins. There are plenty of other shopping malls that have their own style or cater to different crowds. Shop at the Mall or Malls that best fit you!
At least for your image files you can use the 'Graphics' section. Thats what it was intended for as to be a source repository for images.

I figured that I would give everyone what they wanted. Some people want us to stay that WinCustomize is purely a Corporate WebSite. As far as the overflow error. That should be corrected now. I still need to check other parts of the site to make sure that doesn't happen again so that error may pop up here or there. As far as the Script TImeout Error, working on that. Right now the messageboard database is not on a fast connection and do to a newsletter we are sending out that connection is being maxed out slowing down the message board.
