I will add a question: Is the bonus general or planetary? Planetary would mean it just adds to the transports launched from that planet, which could explain why you might have overseen the bonus.

And to help you to post it here in a nice way i suggest you upload them on [link="http://www.imageshack.us/"]Imageshack[/link] and use the "Thumbnails for forums" link that looks this way: you just delete both of the "URL"`s and insert the word "link" instead and you set the webaddress in exclamation marks: [link="http://adressofyourpicture.jp
You are right, my fault.
The planets rally point button is greyed out. Bug? Btw, why didnt i have music in the first campaign mission?
Yesterday i have exchanged 2x256 Meg of PC2700 Ram with 2x512meg pc3200, now having 4x512megs of pc3200 RAM, not slowed down anymore. I tested performance on Immense with cheats, enabled as much planets as possible, as much opponents as possible (masochistic) and used cheats to reveal the map. It took a few seconds but then performance was acceptable, only slight delays (maybe a half second) when i cycle through menus. How much performance drop will i have to await in the later game, if i start
The only thing you can do is play a quasi-hotseat game on one computer. You basically use a cheat to be able to control enemy races as well. So you activate this for another race and when the other race makes it moves you just let it be done by a friend of yours. This way you can play kind of multiplayer games on one computer. BUt basically GCII is not thought to be a multiplayer game. Look at these links to find out how cheats are enabled: [link="https://www.galciv.wikia.com/w
It would be quite costly for germany seeing as just for UK its £20.International shipping is USD$20. That's quite a bit different from £20.
Plus customs charges as i told him already. I paid additional 17% of the price for the game. Thats for germany. And one question - if i already ordered TA, paid, downloaded it and would decide to get a CD sent to me - would this be possible if i pay the 20$? Will it then be possible to declare it as a "present", so i do not have
There is no retail box. Only a disc.
Does anyone know the shipping cost for germany?
Bei 30$ also etwa nochmal 3-4€ drauf.
What card do you have? Is it integrated? Is your machine a laptop?
On the other page you can see my debug.err with more information, its a geforce 6600 gt agp not integrated, desktop pc
Lol, i wonder if this guy is a pirate. Not saying you are but many pirates come on and say this on other sites.
Would i have a metaverse profile if i were one? btw, do YOU have one??!? ;)
Not that Stardock pays much attention to pirates, but that just hands them the game on a silver platter. The archiving functionality works pretty well, and I suspect this will be the method they continue to use.Just like some other popular electronic
Na hoffentlich ;)
Can`t Stardock just do something for excellent mods like this one and make them MV compatible somehow? With lack of MV compatibility much of my motivation to use this mod is diminished.
I strongly suggest that everyone with an NVIDIA video card update their drivers to Forceware Version 174.74 or higher (aka 7.15.11). This version of the driver is entirely rebuilt (for GeForce 6, 7, 8 and 9 series cards) with lots of bug fixes.
I tried to download and install it, it says that no compatible hardware was found and aborted the installation. On Nvidia homepage it is listed as Geforce8/9 driver only
Not being able to get back into the game is not acceptable. It works here but can you give me your OS and video card so I can try to reproduce that? Also, one thing everyone should be careful to do is if they had the beta, to delete the gc2twilight directory in my documents\my games so that your settings are fresh.
Same here every time i use alt-tab and then want to get back to the game. debug.err: (btw completely fresh install with formatted hd, clean new w
I thought it would be really cool if you can upload a downloadable copy for owners of the digital version of TotA we can download and burn on a CD by ourselves. The backup option is not as "elegant" as an installable disc version. But i also do not really want to pay 20$ shipping costs for a cd in a paper sleeve. So maybe you can provide owners of TA like me with the ability to download an installer version of TotA to put on physical media by themselves.
As said before i have tried gigantic and it worked. Maybe there is not yet someone who finished immense on similar hardware, so maybe i will just have to try and report here. Too bad if i discover in 1 month or so my game becomes unplayable. ^^
I think we gamers will never be able again to look over a game developers shoulders more intimately than you guys let us. I think this is great =)
When you launch the game, one of the options is the manual.
drish311 has stated this before: The options are only available with the TA Launcher. The shortcut created with the installation is a direct link to the game executable. So if i would not have known what TALaunch is (because i know what DALaunch was) i would never have seen the editors. Only a small thing but maybe you can fix the Installation in the next update to create a launcher shortcut, not a game shortcut
I can create a custom race to play myself, but the "create new opponent" button on the opponent selection screen is greyed out. You're saying your "create new opponent" button is working?
Oh, sorry. Didnt check that. I have the same problem of course - greyed out opponent button.
For me it works. Are you sure you disabled "show pre-release versions" in SD cedtral and did download the correct version? (not the release candidate which has a [rc] in its version number)
I thought to start an immense game, but was wondering if my PC may be too slow. I played gigantic in Dark Avatar and those tended to slow down to the end with wait times when windows needed to be closed etc. Is this improved in TA as well? The new textures use less memory - but does this matter if you are in tactical zoom, not displaying any of them actively? The new galaxy is much bigger than the old one - is the performance acceptable? My system specs are AMD Athlon XP 3200+ 1,5gb
Hopefully you're noticing the new distributed downloading system that is exclusive to Stardock Central and Impulse. Those of you with ridiculously fast connections who are downloading the expansion pack should be getting extremely fast throughput on the download. Let us know what you think. Is it worth the extra cost (it's expensive for us to run this)? Does it make you more likely to purchase software digitally in the future? Any feedback welcome!
Look at the s
I am downloading this right now. ver 0.99[rc].016 rc stands for release candidate, right? Is this the final or just a pre-release-version?Thanks to 10MB/sec down in my new home and a fast server it may be there quite fast
DAMN! I just had to format my c drive because it was to small for TA install. Now obviously it is in the night in germany but the most crowded time in the US. Because of you guys i cannot get my 11000kb/sec and i am downloading right now with about only
