Heavy cruisers are used in a variety of situations, but usually they are to brute force a high level marza or low level titan...most likely they will be built by a frontliner suddenly getting lots of feed or an eco player trying to fleet up and double on a large fleet... If you go the route of HCs, you have a narrow window of opportunity to make use of them....the enemy will easily counter with bombers, hoshikos, and/or guardians, so whatever you plan to do with them you have to do fa

Stripping planets really isn't about getting resources, it's about denying them to your enemy...it's not just an economic tool, it's also got tactical value that is very hard to put a price on...even if you got NO resources from stripping planets, it would still be useful...

Imagine you park your Mercedes Benz in the ghetto overnight, and in the morning you find it has been broken into...sure, just because your car looks nice doesn't justify the actions of those

Best counter is to wait for a lag spike, then pause the game while the game is lagged...then, send a whisper to the enemy telling them that the game is bugged, they've frozen it and need to leave...a few messages to all friends along the lines of "so and so is bugged" might help.... If the spike lasts long enough and you are persuasive, they'll leave before the pause alert shows up in their chat.....

It's fine...titan AoE's make it hard to use large amounts of flak late game...on top of that, corvettes counter bombers and fighters counter corvettes...all of these things make it so that late game fleets tend to be very fighter heavy, and thus Advent no longer have to worry about being raped by phase missiles....repulsion and the Advent SB abilities also are handy at dealing with large swarms of corvettes, which tend to be a big part of the Vasari fleet composition...

shieldData shieldAbsorbGrowthPerDamage 0.001000 shieldAbsorbDecayRate 0.012500 shieldAbsorbBaseMin 0.150000 Those are the lines that matter... I would guess that if you set the growth to zero, the max values in each entity are irrelevant provided there is no way a target could get a buff to shield mitigation...

IMO, an announcement of Sins 2 is more likely than some addition or change to current Sins...they've already stated that they aren't comfortable adding more to the game due to performance and memory, and it just seems like kind of a waste to try and open this game up or improve it when the engine is so obsolete compared to what can be started today....

Minimum shield mitigation is set in each race's player file...IIRC, setting that to zero and then setting max shield mitigation to zero for each entity will remove it from the infocard....
