One needs to research a new tech in civilian area. I can't remember the name, it is late. There are two techs for phase jumping, one is from star to star, the other is from wormhole to another star(?). Hope that helps. Redjac

I am new to the game as well. A TEC colony frigate can capture astroids in deep space by use of the "capture" command. It is similiar to the "colonize" comamand in that it requires sufficient antimatter for the command to be issued. I assume the other two races have a ship similiar to the colony frigate. Redjac
