You can make maps as you want with Galaxy Forge (available in downloads section) the ingame map editor isn't as powerfull, though. The answer to the rest your questions: yes you can.

The opening movie hints that it's something related to phase space, perhaps something like the Beast in Homeworld: Cataclysm?
You did fix crashes that were caused by bombing planets? (Or did they turn out to be something else?) Otherwise, again an impressive list.
If you're a turtle like me, it's a dream come true! [e digicons][/e]
They don't hate their customers, they just love their profits more :)
When you keep playing Sins in your dreams. When those dreams minidump. (a sign of Beta testing too long [e digicons][/e] )
I read reviews made by other gamers from GameFAQs, one 0/10 review and a 10/10 review, that'll give an idea of what works and what doesn't ;) Still, demos are the best way to see if you'll like a game.
I played Gaian Crescent against an AI, fired Kostura on his Homeworld, sent a migrator with support to the newly formed Phase Stabilizer Node, and had an Orkulus up before his fleet got there, and as you can imagine, it ended in slaughter. I still feel that Orkulus should build and upgrade faster, since it's the main anti-building unit for Vasari.
I'd imagine there will be a small pdf with descriptions of the new ships, sturctures and gameplay changes.
Something similar happened to me too, i ordered my fleet to move to neighbouring planet, but instead of phase jumping, they kept going with normal travel. Re-issuing the order got them to phase jump, well out of the planets gravity well.
When you start modifiying lines from other games to match Sins: "Beware the alien, the pirate, the Unity"
Really? Is that a new ability, or is it just case of me not reding tooltips?
Are they really going to get all the bugs sorted for tomorrow? There was quite little time between B3 and release.
Have to agree with Annatar, i've been a stardock fan ever since Frogboy said "if you're a yerk, i don't want your money" (or something like that).
Advent are all about abilities and culture. Their late game research allows the increase of maximum loyalty (which means bonus income) and the Deliverance Engine is not as useless as it may seem: constant culture bombing will decrease enemy income, and even cause them to lose planets, unless the enemy sacrifices logistic slots for broadcast centers, or station their capitals on important planets. Also with the Eyes of the Converted, you can spy enemy territory with it, and knowledge is power.
Hehe...we were well over budget a month ago. This expansion was not priced properly, i highly doubt anyone will complain about its value once they've played it
I suspected that, but does that mean that the price of the next mini-expansion will be higher?
RA3 is fun and all, but as a game, Sins is light years ahead of it, and it just keeps getting better. I suppose RA3 won because it's more "mainstream" [e digicons]:S[/e]
They're not. Capital ships will still very much need support to be effective. Giving capital ships a weak Flak will not by any means make them one-ship conquer all wonders. Flak Frigate support will still be very much desired, Fighter support will still be very viable. As for hardcoding, there are mods out there that already has this as a feature, so we know its all very much possible.
IIRC, Carriers, mothership, and battle cruisers in HW 2 had low powered AA guns, they
In all of my games so far all of these ships move. I just build a few refineries, and the ships moved right on to nearest asteroids. I have noticed though, that ships seem to bump into eachother more when they are lining up for a jump, maybe this is related?
Oh right, forgot about that one [e digicons][/e] That's propably it, it's just wierd that it appears only after an extractor has been ordered to be built.
I meant that if a planet is affected by an ally's culture, does it give your ships your specific bonus? If my ally's an Advent and i'm playing TEC, do my ships get the increased antimatter bonus under the Friendly Advent culture? An ally's culture increases planets loyalty, so i figured it could also affect ships.
Just noticed this on Gaian Crescent map: as soon as an extractor is ordered to be built, it starts giving income, TO BOTH RESOURCES. I built a Crystal extractor, and immediatly started gaining income to both metal and crystal with the amount the extarctor should give. Also, after the extractor was complete, crystal income rate doubled, as if i had two crystal extractors built. The finished extractor didn't increase metal mining rate, though. After the two metal extractors were ready, my metal

I find Advent Halcyon's Telekinetic Push more useful. It not only damages strikecraft, but scatters them all over aswell.
Which is propably why this stuff isn't in it. This game is the Anti-Crysis [e digicons][/e]
