Yes, what Wolf said, Replays please! In the "olden days" I would give an AAR on the BBS about how an online game went (lets see if any youngsters know what those are), but having to do it today, is, well, "Olden". Replays are way more important than a demo if you ask me; especially if replays are included IN the demo. I'm telling you, potential players will download top replays, watch them with the demo and get really stoked. And replays are almost manditory if yo

How about Regulas and ???. My friend; who is still noobish, loves Regulus; won't play anything else, but, being noobish, he always ends up at the front lines. He always wants me to play Sedna so I can keep healing him (ya, I keep telling him to RUN), but she can't do much else after she heals. I was thinking TB; maybe he can freeze and slow everything as to keep them away from "Noobulus".
It is easy, if , you did'nt break your left pinky last year; and usually have to use your left thumb instead; and since you can't remap your keys, you have to play "Hand Twister". . .
I have, ONCE, used heal on a minion (purposely). The other 99% of the time, I'm tring to heal or target a demigod. So trying to hold down the ctrl key (Hand Twister, Left thumb green) to target a demigod (which is what you want the vast majority of the time) is really off. Holding it down to target a minion, now that makes sence.
Xhero, they allready did nerf Erb; his bite; quite a bit. It's Monday, any news on 1.1 comming out today?
Kell, there also seems to be replays set up in the game; folders and recordings and everything, it just was'nt "implemented" either, like the remapable keys. Don't ask me wyhy not [e digicons]:S[/e]
They need to lower the number of skill levels you can invest in for minions (the rarely used bottom row of talents); for example, only use 5, or even 4, instead of 6 (so your spending 5 or even just 4 points, instead of 6), but make each one give you more "buff for your buck". Not only do minions seem week and lackluster, but you've got to invest SIX points in them minimum to make them viable; points you really need for so many other things.
I take it back; played a game today, and half the time, I had to move and heal because my heal would do nothing when I tried it. Seeing teammates standing beside you (when you KNOW they could just as easily run away) hoping for you to heal them; and you try; and try; and then they die waiting for you; it's soooo embarassing . . . .
I play Sedna all the time, and pounce does not seem to be the problem; it seems to be the "Instant Heals"; I can be down to 1 hitpoint after some great teamwork for the enemy, only to be instantly healed up again a half a second. If the heals were "Heal over time" heals, that would balance her perfectly imo. Just a suggestion so she can keep her heals, but not go from near death to almost full health in a "blink".
Ya, I played a great 3v3 game yesterday; everyone was friendly and a good player; it was a back and forth game the entire time, and all I could think of during the end of the game was (Damn, I'll never to get to see a replay of this epic game, let alone share it with others). It sadens me greatly to say this, but another friend of mine got tired of waiting for all the Demigod fixes, and got DoWII (a game I've had since it released). I've played him online t
They also need to cut down the number of "upgrades" that minions get; what I mean specifically is that people just don't want to put ALL those points on minion upgrades JUST for the minions, when there are so many other good powers they need/want. So lets say for an example: it's possible to put 6 points total in minion upgrades; instead, they just make it 5, or even 4, but make each upgrade give more bonuses. That way, people are WAY more likely to put poin
Sorry to tell you Cyan, but yes, many (MANY) people have requested replays. In fact, I'd say it was one of the top "non bug fix" requests. Gas Powered Games (not Stardock) is in charge of that area of the game, and I'm not sure I've seen/heard anything from them on this issue. There is an area where replays are stored, but no way of watching them (well, someone on the boards had a workaround for it, but it was too buggy for me too use, do a search on "replays" and you may fi
Ya Phoenix, or it could be like in Sins: a Peasant takes up 1 cap; a dragon 50. So, a general who finally gets able to command up to 50 "points" could say to all his men: "Your ALL dispmissed, now WHERE is that dragon?"
Here's how the vast majority of "my" games of Demigod have gone: Game starts; one player quits within 5 mins (without a word) because he "perseves" we may loose. Half of the time, the rest of my team stays and does GG after losing (usually badly); the other half of the time, the rest of the team slowly quits like dominoes, usually without even a "I'm out'a here". Then I'm all alone, and you have to wonder "If I GG and quit, will that tick off th
Well, it's already been stated that a generals "level" will affect how many troops (or maybe the total "power" all of his troops combined) he can command; that's good news to us. With some type of overland spells (like ice encasement, or freeze time) that damage or "hold" units in an entire area, that should help the stack-o-death problems too. I remember in MoM, putting all your eggs in one basket could be dangerous when some of the more powerful overland spells came i
I wonder: Lets say there is a 4v4 game of MP Demigod, and one team was losing badly, everyone in the game was suddenly, magically teleported into a volleyball court together, and they were still playing 4v4, only volleyball (or ANY other team sport) but they could see each other. Even if your badly losing the game, 98% of people would not quit, they'd play till the end, and give the low-five to everyone on the other team. Yet, because it's a "
Yes, there were a couple games I SO needed to see the replay; just shocking they left it out of this kind of game. One game, a 4v4, there was a rook and QoTs on the other team; they cleared a path to our citadel so fast, and at such an early level I could not beleive it (they must have maxed their tower crushing skills, and had great teamwork). My 3 teammates seemed to be very new to the game. I tried to "coax" them to cap flags instead of dying to our fears
Silia takes up arms to protect Sedna from the Demigod "Nerfwhatkillsme" You may have defeated the Vampire Lord, but if you want my mistress Nerfwhatkillsme, you'll have to get through ME!
Well, waiting 30 secs is new; it use to be, when someone quit, it just said "A player has quit" a couple seconds later. I've played two games where 1 person on the other side quit early (after like 2 deaths), and the other team came back to win anyway. So you just never know sometimes in this game. The only time I "quit" is when losing is 100% inevitable, and then I ask "Would you like me to surrender, or do you like to play to the end". You'd be surprised, so
After they nerf Sedna's pounce, she is forced to ride the below mount. . . Pounce Mittens, POUNCE! What!? You only did 2 damage? No, purring will NOT stun them! NO, stop playing with the QoT's Vines! Get down out of there, Rook is NOT a cat tree! Bad Mittens, that's a Fortress, NOT a cat box!
Here is a question my friends and I have: One of the biggest downfalls in Heroes of Might & Magic is that one "General" can hold/lead as many troops as he wants. This leads to the "stack of death" syndrome; everyone has one main hero that carries around 90% of his troops, and the other generals (if they even bother to buy more than one) do nothing but sit in the castle and/or are errend boys, transporting troops or weekly treasure fromt he goody huts. Every ga
Ya, with Stardock, we get great, detailed updates almost every day, but, unless I've missed something, I never see anything from GPG; and since they are "in charge" of lots of things Stardock has little say over in Demigod, it's a bit troubling. . .
Ahh, I see, thanks.
1. MOO 3 2. Spore 3. Homm4 (Said it had Multiplayer, it did'nt. They said they "we'll add it later", they did, months later, but we never ever got it to work).
I'm not quite sure what you mean Sorian; what text "stays up" when you click on your health/mana?
