The majority of your questions are easily answered by: "The same way they are now, without blueprints". The blueprints ARE the build que. They are simply triggered when any ship in the blueprints are destroyed. You are OCD'ing this.

Yes, I just finished another game with 3 AI. My AI teammate moved his fleet alllllll the way to a planet in the rear of my systems. No idea why, because there was nobody there (not even me). When coming upon the other enemy AIs, there were not defenses 90% of the time (ships or orbital). I just bombed a planet quickly and moved on. There were two planets the entire game that I found a station on, but no additions added to them, just bare bones.&nbsp

Well, as a total beginner programmer (I mean, I learned C++ many years ago, is all I know), they already have it so you can order ships to be built; in a long cue if you want; and then they can already auto-travel to a set destination; and add themselves to a group. That's all already in the game. My rookie programmer brain says all they have to do is make the "blueprints" a build order cue, that starts any time a ship is destroyed. Of course, all the mice had to do was be

It would not matter in the least where, or if you moved ships in a blueprint anywhere outside the group. If they are destroyed, they are replaced (even if in another system). And if the player does not want that to happen, he should not move the ship away from the group, or even have it in a blueprint in the first place. It's actually easy: select any group; click on one of your blueprints (usually premade); it starts rebuilding and/or refilling. Just

One of my favorite mechanics in SoaSE 1 was that ability to have new ships that are built automatically "waypoint" to a ship or group. This saved SO much tedium and let us concentrate on strategies and watch the action take place. It's the main reason a friend, who dislikes RTS games, plays Sins. <br style="color: #2d2d2d; font-s

So, I'm playing along in my first playthrough of Sins 2. I had planned to jump to a planet adjacent to an enemy, reinforce my fleet, and then jump in to attack him. I go to jump, but wait, where is the planet? Where in the heck is it?? Did I lose a planet the same way I keep losing my keys and glasses??? The planets gone, it's a HUGE bug or I am really getting senile! I finally figure out, on my second playthrough, that "Planets Orbit" setting is no

Yes Nano. Simply click on any or all shipyards, and right click on any other ship (I'd suggest the huge ones). After that, any ships created will travel automatically to that group, and auto-add itself to it.

This saved SO much tedium and let us concentrate on strategies and watch the action take place. It's the main reason a friend, who dislikes RTS games, plays Sins. Consider, for SoaSE 2, another leap forward: "Fleet Blueprints". One of my least favorite parts of Sins has always been after battles. You have to play Whe

Wasa, if you want to churn your own butter and crank start your car, go right ahead. The rest of us live in 2016, and want to think about tactics, position and strategies, not spend the majority of our time babysitting and doing useless busywork. I'm surprised you did not say "You newfangled game whippersnappers, get these new game progressions off my lawn!". Also, for those not aware, there IS an auto build/join utility in the game. But

I could not agree more. Engineer babysitting is not fun or strategic in any way. And when you play humans, and they bomb your rear resources (which is often difficult to notice in the heat of a half dozen battles), it's even more of a major pain to find the damaged/missing nodes, get a engineer to them, and micro them to rebuild everything. Blueprinting would be great, as having to repeat the defensive buildings build orders is yet another monotonous task. <

I agree with you somewhat. At this time, the micro in this Beta is a step backwards from SoaSE. I spend as much, if not more time with extractor and engineer micro, and hunting down destroyed extractors, and then even MORE micro to rebuild them, than I do with strategy. http://steamcommunity.com/app/228880/discussions/0/412446292753267630/

"You seem to confuse "have no friends" with "know better then to play online with strangers and have no friends that play Elemental Fallen Enchantress who would like to play it in multiplayer while having compatible schedules". No, you seem to confuse "Would you pay $1 to have multiplayer", which every person on earth who play MP would of course say a resounding "Yes", to "I'm voting no to keep MP out because I have no friends to play with and am affraid to

Quoting Omnax1, reply 16 I do not understand why people who do not want to play MP vote no. Question is not, do you want to play MP or not? But If you want MP, would you be willing to pay a dollar for it? I would and I would like it very much. No special modes, no different rules. Just make it work, and make it easy for people to play together. No OOS. No crashes. Allow modding for MP. Other than that keep gameplay same as SP. you are absolutely right, way better than i could say it &

For those enjoy all aspects of MP, and are confused by the near hostility of some towrds you: There are a lot of people that are "game loners" out there. For many, the games they play are their lives. They don't have or don't want others around when they play. When you hear/read things like "it will take too long", that's loner talk for "real people will be in the game, and I don't like it". To them, you are doing a dire

I have not written on these forums for a VERY long time, but I have to reply to this thread. Age of Wonders made a turn based game; simultanious turns; tactical battles, and a decade later Stardock can't? Seriously? Seriously??? I've been playing games for 35 years; computer games since pong. I know many gamers, and none buy/play TBS games to "hurry"through them. You name the TBS game, I and my friends have played them, all M

Exactly Goodgimp. If, right now, we had a co-op MP game of WoM we could play (we could care less about balance right now, or ever, if we don't find it challenging, we will turn up the difficulty) we would be in heaven. We have no wish to change the game itself in any way, just play it co-op, exactly as it is.

FB has said he's working so hard on WoM because years from now, when people look back at the game (or pick it up in the bargin bin) that is won't be a negative experience; so it will be positive; a good legacy. MP was not just listed on the box, it was talked about in depth durring it's creation process. So SD has two choices: They can put in a great MP (as was advertised and touted) and have people enjoy it for years to come, and look back on the game as a positive, or they can

HoMM; Age of Wonders have incredible MP. How many years old are they? EwoM could have great MP too. Nothing needs to be different in the game except making it MP or hotseat. Period. We want to play Co-op here, that's all, just like most the other games we have. AoW did it a decade ago, and Stardock can't? Really? In my opinion, Elemental and especially it's sequal could (and still might) blow Age of Wonders MP out of

Now that's the truth Jedi. I helped a friend put together a Lan this last weekend. After trying to get several of his games to work on it, he suggested AoW:SM. I declined, because, well, had been so long since I had played it, and I thought it would be "old". But after 15 mintues of play, I was reminded how much fun it was. And the TBS multiplayer is near perfect. 13 years old, and, it sadens me to say I enjoyed playing it today it more than I

No tactical battles? I know a lot of gaming people. I don't know one that would purchase a game of this type, build cities, research techs, customize their armies and spells, only to get a pop-up box on the battles outcome. Not one. That includes me. I'm sorry, I've totally given up on this game and SD. I'm just glad I did not drag all my other friends into this. If MP people show "interest", THEN you'll put work into MP??? Th

MP was talked about since I first read about the game; it was stated up to 32 players back then I beleive. It's on the BOX for gosh sakes. An "afterthought"??? [e digicons]XD[/e] So many people lifting their skirts and jumping up on chairs, all "squeally" that starting an advertised (and basic) function of a game will take some part away from their SP gaming time. <img id="rg_hi" class="rg_hi" style="width: 83px; height:
