Especially full 3D movement, Dynamic ship movement to target "weak spots", True Formations, Tactics (aggressive, defensive, passive), More defined weapon firing arcs, etc. I'll agree with most of this, but I don't want Sins to become a game of sniping hardpoints, or all eye candy o
Welcome to Sins! For those who are interested in multiplayer, here is a helpful link to better understand the community. There are many veteran players that will help newer players get acclimated if you ask coherently. Enjoy!

Homeworld series, including Cataclysm, was best for multiplayer, although HW1 and Cata were better than HW2 for SP.

What Protoplazm posted sounds like it's related to the in-game Steam voice chat that's built-in, but if most of you aren't using it, I doubt that's it either.
Yeah, I don't use the Steam voice chat, don't know anyone who does really. Just posted about this, was referred to this post.
There have been at least three (3) games I have played in recently that have had a strange glitch where a players name has shown up on screen in the upper center-right, in huge white letters. Once it was [_]Eros, and a couple times it has been my name that displayed. On two of these occasions, a loud audible "squelch", along with "chirping" sounds could be heard. These sounds lasted only a second or two at the most. On all occasions, all of the players in-game repo

The OP points out what obviously is a little known fact of shared history between the Advent and TEC that even the most dedicated observers fail to recognize; The original dispute that led to the great exodus of the Advent was lack in sufficient size mammaries. This explains why the Advent ladies are all bent on boob jobs. Your wife knows this, and is exactly why she fears this game. It represents Boob fixations as objectification.

Hate to point out such a glaring inconsistency, BUT...Gunny don't go there. Nothing personal, but if I can beat him on a consistent basis now...

How should do an updated list with new categories including "Legacy" players. Then have it be community poll.
Right, everyone understands the deficiencies, the multiplayer community most of all. I'm not saying the game SHOULD die because of it. It is in fact a great game, especially for single player. Rebellion added more content, which is great, but made the game more imbalanced for multiplay. My whole point was that the game is not friendly to casual multiplayers, which is why the community is so small -- this doesn't mean y
Do contributed By Yarlen: Also; if in fact, by all accounts it is obvious at the end of a game you will not win, it is highly encouraged for players on the losing team to agree not only to concede, but to surrender. Now I may be wrong on this, but it is my understanding that surrenders cause the "replacement AI" to do nothing (while quits allow the AI to act as a "legit" substitute
There is a lot of talk about "paying one's dues" but lets face it, it makes for a hostile community and most gamers these days are not going to have the patience to deal with it when so many games remove these kinds of barriers that prevent you from just jumping in and having fun... ...Because Sins requires so much dedication to play and enjoy online, it makes the online community smaller, which just makes it increasingly unfriendly fo
Done - thank you for writing that up. [e digicons]:)[/e] In the section where you discuss prolonging games, could you encourage those folks to Surrender and not just quit out?
