Just go to here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5555 2. Download the vcredist_x86.exe package 3. Put it in your \Steam\steamapps\common\Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion\redist folder. Launch the game again, and it should install the Visual C++ package and launch the game. The game will
The MP community is still active for new players and vets alike, but you do not see the numbers as with some game titles. Not uncommon to see upwards of 25-50 games going. However, the skilled (competitive) player base is well established, but currently is limited to a core of around a hundred or so players though. Of these competitive players, many embrace the newer players who want to learn, and will help you acclimate to the game if you ask. <a title="SoaS

Facebook is evil. In fact, social media in general is a giant conglomeration of data mining life-blood suckers. Known as fertile ground for all law enforcement efforts aimed at profiling and stratifying. Just say no.

Or are these memories lost, like tears in the rain? "I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I've watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die." Get it right..
Outstanding Yarlen! As part of your investigation, do you think y'all can look into a "Test Server" button on the log in screen? Would be lot easier to get folks over there more regularly which could help with bug hunts. Changing maps from within the hosted lobby would be huge! Multiple channel windows too. -And while were at it, any chance we might see a list of games going that indicated how long they've been playing, and who'

This is most noticeable when your half-health cap ship is fleeing a superior enemy force heading for the edge of the well. At this point, the speed is directly proportional to the amount of damage it is sustaining, and will grind to halt in an excruciatingly slow manner whilst attempting to negotiate entering the phase lane jump.

If in fact a player knowingly prolongs a game out of spite, that is unacceptable. Did he chat at all during this period? In any event, it would be uncharacteristic for him to pull such a stunt, but it's hard to chastise someone for one incident. If it turns out to be a pattern, then folks might consider not putting him in games. But everyone has "off" episodes, and if someone gives assurances they "won't do it again", I would give them a pass (at least until th
Another idea with the campaign: If the devs do decide to show the "enemy" chasing the Vasari, then the three civs (TEC, Advent, Vasari) could unite near the end (maybe the campaign could be a lot about getting the three to work together) and defeat this "enemy". After that, they're like, "What the hey? Look at all this tech and ships the enemy left behind. I want it." So they all go back to fighting or whatever. This could lead to ne
