2. Map Balance - - Leviathan needs two more towers which can cover the citadel to prevent minion swarming. I would make them ToL just for the survivability, but I wouldn't add more than two towers on each side. -The bottleneck towers on Exile and Crucible need to be shifted so that no more than two can bear on a single target at any time. -The home crystal on Exile needs to be shifted away from the lanes to prevent lane

You know what just occurred to me? The devs have stopped tagging bugs on this game. Throughout the DG beta kryo and others would be going through the bug and tweak reports and tagging them for the developer buglist. It looked like this ./nb or maybe ./b I didn't play SoaSE in Beta, but you'd still see Stardock mods culling through and tagging posts for the devs to look at six months after release But nothing in Demigod, unless I'
Yep, Slaughter is broken, but it's not the game mode's fault. Because they include maps like Exile and Crucible in Pantheon it's possible to defend your citadel from your health crystal without ever dying, with minimal skill. I assume it has more to do with this than that it isn't fun. Slaughter on Leviathan can be pretty cool..
You can buy items by left-clicking on them in the shop menu. Once you close the shop open your equipped/character stats interface and right-click on an item to drop it. It will appear on the ground as a rotating treasure chest. Anyone can pick up the chest and the item within will be automatically equipped on them if they have room or don't already own the item (Consumables can be stored in stacks of three) If the item is alre
I'd like to see a bit more innovation in pub games where possible. It seems like most players follow this formula: 1. Capture flags early and hold them where possible 2. Kill enemy Demigods without dying 3. Hold lanes and farm grunts 4. Destroy enemy towers 5. Buy Equipment and choose skills for your DG which allow you to do all of the above better 6. Buy Priests thru Catas and lock opponent portals 7.
it could work, in a 1v1 situation you would superior probly, but she could hold flags better.
That's the problem for me. At this point I can keep from dying against this Sedna but I'm not going to have map control on Crucible or Prison - she can always outlast in a straight duel So i think if you were playing a minion build you would want to have your minions off whittling down her towers while you went flags, giving her a tough choice. I don't think
He didn't even post a SS, and i have no clue where he got lvl 5 stats for UB. From memory? From trying to recreate his demi? Either way both are not accurate imho.
http://demigoddb.com/ Best resource online, imo Hopefully the maker will post minion info sometime soon..
too bad, I thought you guys had done something novel ^^ I look forward to the actual "nerf team feeds" threads if and when we ever get truly competitive
Which BSOD error message are you getting? The specifics of it will help diagnose the problem. Then reinstall the latest drivers for your card
I actually did manage to complete a 1v1 after putting my pc back
I'm not gonna scrub about this, but I agree that mirrored dgs are annoying to play against (and fun to play as) Oak is probably the toughest, even without a morale focus, until you get to 4v4 maybe, then I imagine an organized team of Spit/Grasp UB would be worse..
Let's not be silly, it's nowhere near beta status, it's pretty solid in most respects.
What's interesting is that the "solid" respects have all been pretty much solid since September (with the exception of multiplayer connectivity, which was mostly settled last month) Where we seem to be having issues is with anything that wasn't firmly settled before the game went Beta..
Good explanation, csebal I'm gonna bet this thread gets up to 23 replies before being locked ;)
I was getting unhandled exception crashes 80% of the time with 1.1 (previously 95% stable) - they occurred when I opened the client sometimes, or in the chat lobby, not just in the game (so it wasn't the death menu bug, and yes, I deleted my game prefs) The 1.1 hotfix has graduated me to Bluescreen of Death 100% of the time [e digicons][/e] Here's why I don't think my video card blew up or my cpu is overheating - I get it every time I play a *multiplayer* de
That's pretty swanking good. I've got another great way to exploit this mix. It falls in the range of "gaeimbahaxs," IMO. Are you interested in trying this out, Kestrel?
I'd be happy to [e digicons][/e] Just as soon as I can figure out why the 1.1 hotfix not only makes me crash more but also blue screens my pc every time [e digicons]:typo:[/e]
Yes, but a normal Sedna can get all those things too. Compared to a normal Sedna, the Diamond Pendant build only goes 10% faster.
Really? 10% can make all the difference, in the games I play, but ok Let's remove the pendant from the equation, since it seems to be giving you difficulty. We can boil it down to this instead: Magnificent Presence synergizes very well with Celerity Flag and also with Renewal Assassins
OK so you tie one or two assassins with these items to a Sedna built like this: http://forums.demigodthegame.com/357606/page/1/#2288173 (reply 4) Give her a Magnus too, as mrappard points out, and deck them all out in trinkets. Now you restrict your play to maps with Celerity flags and make sure you keep it locked down, and you have a premade team with interesting synergy
on Crucible - Morale Oak (to avoid the lane towers) on Prison - Morale Erebus (for the minion hp and minimal towers) I just started with morale builds this week, so I'm debating on whether it's better to 1. skip items entirely and just buy idols and citadel upgrades, basically farm where the enemy isn't and avoid direct confrontation. In this case I would go with Horn of Battle favor item 2. buy things like slayer's wraps and put points in deb
Give us serious modding and we can make the game any way we want. What we can't do is provide the stuff around the game, the stats tracking, the replays, the community support. That's where you guys will need to shine..Which is more important short-term? I guess I'd say the logistics stuff, though the content is more interesting... Best case scenario would be providing both
per Regabond I'd go with a Bracelet of Rage feed on this one, but I think we are missing a bit of gold somewhere for the High Priests and high health (even with sigil) and probably a couple of cheap DPS items. In lieu of replays: Did they down any of your towers? Are you absolutely certain no one on your team died before Oak became uber? Did they control your gold flag, if so, was it for any length of time? Did your team upgrade to priests
1. Items I agree with transitive's first reply. With the exception of the trinkets page and the occasional artifact it's uncommon to buy any item that costs more than 2k gold, because the slot cost is significantly outweighed by the gold cost I'm going to go through just the armor for some specific examples, but gloves, helms, and boots all need the same refurbishing. To start I'm setting the price of item slots at 500g. In other words, if
Just gonna throw these in from the other thread. I'll make a separate comment for my own feedback.
I'll just address number 2 (how to make maps more balanced with little work). Towers. More and more towers specifically around the citadel. I'd think this would be easy to add to any map and it would reduce the effectiveness of minion pushes. Obviously not the most brilliant idea, but it should be somet
Ripdog2k - Are we talking about this game: http://pantheon.demigodthegame.com/game/723126/player/32242/ ? If so, was it Ronin or the Communist? We can try to put together some feed scenarios to explain it.. Or maybe the player in question feels like providing his own explanation ^^
I'd rather spend points elsewhere.
I tend to agree with you there - it's a tactical ability, useful only with certain game modes or situations
some excellent thoughts here - for more and similar I'll point to transitive's continuation of "Hot Topics That Aren't God-Awful Bickering" [e digicons]|-)[/e]
