@Pfizzyhead: Currency doesn't affect gold gained from creeps. And on Curr II and III let me quote:
I worked this out for the Exile map. That is, there are 2 gold mines at each base, and 2 gold mines to be captured in the middle. I assumed War Rank will be earned at a flat rate on both sides (3.33 minutes per WR), and that the Gold team will control the gold mine flags about 3/4 of the time. Both teams will get

correct. Incidentally we figured out a while ago that Currency I is the only cost-efficient level of the upgrade if playing less than a long 4v4. I keep seeing experienced players buying Curr II in 2v2 or 3v3 - unless you are playing 90 minute games you are wasting your gold.

pacov - that chart looks good, let's get this party started, and thanks for all your hard work, espepcially in a time of not awesome ninki - ever notice that you never see Teseer and Thundercles in the same place? Sorta like Batman and Bruce Wayne.... everybody else - why are we still talking? It's time to bring the pain :P ABornExile - every post you make hurts to read in whatever 9 point font Stardock forums use. Please use line breaks, thank you :)
btw, Teseer & Kes. You need to win so that I can kick your ass too ^^; Thunder's TB > Teseer's
I have complete confidence that when we fight our way to the top of that pile of other people's broken dreams you will be there waiting for us, Hedgie And between us, it would be a bad idea for Thundercles to roll TB against Teseer, unless you want this thing to end before it begins ;)

Thundercles: Yah well, you know, thats just like your opinion, man Teseer: 8 year olds, Dude. Edit: On the tournament - pacov, since it seems like things are still a bit up in the air let's go with the seeded chart. I know you put a lot of work into the random and it's workable but we go seeded and all debate immediately stops and we can actually start playing. Also, I'm proud that even though the Demigod community is tiny we still know how inte

We aren't producing this for network television, fellas. Random seeding isn't fair or exciting, it's random, and perfect is enemy of the good In the interest of getting this thing started as opposed to making Duke Nukem Forever, let's go with pacov's chart and say it all kicks off tomorrow, with a week for each section. And yes, my words have weight because it's really not in my best interest to keep things the way they are. ^^ If you want to ha

In all seriousness, though, Ptarth deserves all the karma he can handle. Here's one more for the road [e digicons]k1[/e]

Agent - Start a topic like this when you aren't among like-minded people and you better have a thick skin. That was your first mistake, because you seem awfully defensive throughout this thread. Second thing would be to respond to criticisms with more than smug insinuation. "Oh, that's your theory, is it? Too bad you don't know the REALITY of things like I do! I could blow your mind but you called me a silly goose so nyah nyah nyah at you!"

The presence of insitutional bias in media is well established. No one has every really put the lie to Herman and Chomsky's Manufacturing Consent . I think the concern specifically with Fox News is that any actual reportage is a side-effect, a fringe benefit. Let's look at a parallel situation. There is a free daily newspaper in Israel called Israel

hmm, well, actually the 'constructive' bit was right under the roadie comparison, but if you didn't read down that far let me put it another way: The level of energy necessary to fragment concrete to a particulate level is entirely achievable under these circumstances.
And for the record, I didn't claim to be a structural engineer. I claimed to be an engineer (didn't say what kind) who worked in the structural engineering group of an engineering firm, doing structural engineering work. But please - I don't consider this to be important to the discussion. This was only brought up because some clown told me "go take some structural engineering classes," and I responded that I have not only taken structural engineering classes, I have done structural
