ok chart feedback - I think overall it looks fine, but I'm concerned we are giving QoT too little credit. Think about it in a 2v2 context - who beats a Sedna/QoT team with stacked idol healers? Maybe TB/UB if they make it to the extreme late game, but otherwise? You can't drop enough damage for them to care and we've excluded most of the stun teams who could make a dent. I would make QoT and Sedna mutually exclusive, and I think we should look hard at

cool cool, glad that's set. So now that I'm in this thing: Team selection: KISS (Keep It Simple Sedna) Saying your team has Reg, DA, or TB is a good first tournament rule. Maybe we can branch out from there with future events, but the simpler the better to start, imo. While the default might be Oak/TB or Erb/TB I really wouldn't discount UB/DA or Rook/Reg, for example. In any case, this is something we should set in stone soon so pe

I dont see how this build is superior to pure assassin or pure minon because of these two points. However Ill do this once in awhile just because i love seeing so many spirits. thanks kestrel for posting another flavor of oak. kryo, thanks for catching this. If your side hasn't changed anything then I'm not sure what's happening. We aren't getting bad or endless connection dialogue, all players can connect to each other, all pings are acceptable, we aren't looking at NAT or Proxy conns, and we are able to get games with all of these players with any number less than 5v5. 5v5 isn't working. It looks like the ingame lobby launch button has been disabled for 10 player ga

Maybe the server capacity required jumps exponentially and they are trying to switch resources over to Elemental? It's sorta sad that at a point when you can actually get reliably good 5v5 through Lagwars they turn it off, if that is what happened and it isn't, say, a completely new bug...

Yah so, um...I've been playing with some skilled old school people who don't seem to understand this one... Say your team has two generals. Each general has access to idol healers. Each level of idol healer has a seperate cooldown. What that means: If my occulus gives your sedna a cleric, and your sedna gives my occulus a monk, we will each have one cleric and one monk. And each of us will get a little more than twice as much healing
Has nothing to do with the graphics or budget. The graphics were one thing that made Demigod unique. Lowering the visuals would only hurt a potential sequel. The real problem with Demigod was 50% of GPG being laid off in mid development in 2008.
Hmm, source on the 50% thing? Looking at it another way: 1. Demigod's major failing was that it was too beautiful for its budget, team size, or development window. This had a few effects. - baseline mechanics (favor, minions, etc) and peripherals (stats, netcode) were neglected before release because the maps and models had to look so frikkin good. - post-release modification of said maps and models by the community or even the devs proved extremely difficult. <

lol mate, you are trolling in honor of Dr Guy, right? Or are you seriously linking to hackneyed thriller novels as a legitimate point of discussion? It's like citing the Da Vinci Code as to why Opus Dei is evil...
