Thanks. Dissappointing, but informative no less!

For some reason there seems to be a set amount of portrait sets that I can choose for my enemies. For example, when I choose a particular set for myself, no other computer player can get that portrait. Is there a way to change this so I can choose any particular portrait set that I want?
Very informative. Sticky indeed.
Don't worry, already plan on shelling out the immense amount of 10 dollars for a game. (/sarcasm) Woo, I'm excited. These portraits were getting a bit bland, and ya I could have DLed some custom made, but I love seeing products from the creators themselves!
Very nice stuff Quinn, Vasari have always been a favorite in regards to lore (because I just love alien stuffs) and this picture makes them look so much more bad ass. Hope to see some of your work in Diplo, as well as some sick new portraits!
In one of the journal entries about Diplomacy, two factions had pretty SWEET portraits, one was an evil looking female for TEC and the other an evil looking Vasari. Is this going to come with the Diplomacy expansion or was that someones custom portraits?
For some reason when I updated the maps, it game me a runtime error when I tried to view them in game. What's that about exactly
For some reason and I heard that it has something to do with the version, I downloaded a few maps but I just can't seem to find it in game. Is there anyway to either update the version or find out what exactly is wrong with maps I downloaded? Me and a few friends have been trying to play a game for a really long time, and it never seems to work. Any explanations?
Hm, I can tell it's pretty split! Lol
Topic explains it pretty much. I never see too many people online, and I was wondering if people generally play single player SINS or more multiplayer.
Clearly, at this moment, the SOASE team is hard at work at balancing the game, making adjustments here and there, and whatever else is required at this moment. But I was wondering if at some point in the future there will ever be a solid single player campaign? I mean, I always play 3v3v3 to get the feel of a kind of campaign, but it never feels quite as real as if a storyline were taking place. I'm not even talking this year, just.. at some point in the future, ya know?<b
Ah poo. I was loading a previous version of the game. Sigh, that game was going so well too... I'll retry with the new version and letcha know how it goes.
Late response, but yes actually, that helps very much. Thanks alot! I'll definitely be sure to try some of those strategies as well as the other races. I just always had a thing for playing the powerful alien, big Protoss guy in Starcraft as well :P
Same. As soon as I load, it happens to me as well. I'll see what things I can do to go around it, but we really shouldn't have to at all. These minidumps should have been taken care of already.
Hmm, interesting. Not really sure what to do with the Vasari now. Anything else anyone would like to put out there??
Hello everyone, I'm relatively new to the game, I bought it the day it came out, played it for a little bit and all of a sudden became really busy in real life. Now I have the time again, and I figure I can ask more people for help because it's been out so long. I LOVE the Vasari race, mostly because I love small amounts of powerful ships (kind of a newb at massive armada's even though Vasari does have them irrelevant :P) But I want to know what their advantages are compared to TEC and Ad
Yea, I found out the research I needed to do last night after a little while and proceeded to crush my enemies :] Yea it's on easy.. but it was still fun >:]
I know how to travel between planets within my Solar System.. but how do I get to another one? I haven't gotten the box yet so I'm not quite sure...
I'm glad to see you think this! The anticipation of this download finishing is killing me lawl.
I've read so much on this game for the past few months now, and now that a few solid reviews have come up along with a multitude of player reviews, I decided to buy the Collector's Edition online for $60 (including shipping). My only disappointment is that there is no single player campaign, but I'm sure Stardock will come out with one soon enough, especially because with the general set up it's so easy to make a massive and epic storyline. Well, hope this game is everything I
Holy smokes. I never heard that before, and to think I thought of them very highly before... hopefully it's just a rumor though...
