EVERY game is released with bugs. Every one. The reason GPG and Stardock deserve thanks is the big-time and (hopefully) continued support. No reason bitching about what shoulda-coulda. Just a quick invite to those people posting about "only playing single player". Why? Once you learn the game and start playing online, you'd have even more fun with the game. Multiplayer is just way more enjoyable. You should try it. Get o

[quote who="BigBad" reply="6" id="2226835"](sorry if this is a double post, but I wrote something 15 minutes ago, and so far, It's not here) To expand on what Baphonaut suggested about Pen and Paper "Ban Lists". How about adding this suggestion to the demigod inteface. That way each user can track for themselves in a convient location. Allow people to rate players on sportmanship, skill level and Connection, and the number of games played against.
(see if this works, made a post over in the "rage quitter" thread that didn't actually post) Karma: Bad idea to let users rate, too much abuse. Bad idea to get MORE karma for sticking game out and loosing, why? Because it'll just tie to the issue of people not wanting to play with other people, they'll see high karma and think = bad player. Karma is just bad idea all around. What game really needs (and will indirectly hel
hmm ... worried you might be opening a new can of worms trying to go through one palyers machine to another ... even if it does work, i'm thinking more lag, more desyncs, more disconnects though i hope it works if you guys are commited to the design.
The "I have full mana, within range, click attack spell on enemy, and my guy stands there doing nothing" bug still exists for me too. I've been on the latest beta since release.

Many people chat in impulse and search for games there. ProTip: Set your screen res
Don't know if this was posted elsewhere (a long time ago, i hope). I had meant to post it sooner myself. For people that don't know wtf they are doing. http://portforward.com/ Gives little tutorials on port forwarding per router model. Even if you don't find the exact model (or game of course), you can use them as examples.
quoteing myself from another thread before i saw this one: I hope they go get some sleep, and come back to this fresh. Too many impatient people around here. Bottom line: It's just a game. It has some problems. It'll get fixed. Most people will be happy. Stardock: Take your time, get it right.
In theory, IPv6 would negate much of these problems. But it won't. We will still use some sort of NAT for security reasons. Even if our ISP's gave us 5 free routable addresses, I certainly wouldn't want any of my boxes hanging their asses out there unprotected. Anyway. This shouldn't be such a big deal. Those of us that played games in the "old days" and still play games now in the "new days" (past few years to present), have just continued

More and more, that's what I'm leaning to. My ISP is Comcast, however - a very common ISP, especially on the east coast. I figured if I have this problem, then surely a bunch of other people must too, if Comcast is at fault. However, that just doesn't seem to be th

First off, Congrats on an intersting, good game. I, for one, am confident the devs will work out the network / technical issues quickly. So, this is not a bitch thread about any of that stuff. As the game is very new, I'm also not inclined to bring up balance issues because I know I don't know everything going on in the game yet. So, the following is not that important, but thought i'd throw it out there and see if others agree and eventually have the feedback get
