no, Hippy needs to put the smoke down, and step away from the screen for a few days... ok, we can be realistic...a few minutes...hey, just pretend you went to take a wiz and forgot where the bathroom was...come on Hippy, you can break the habit!

I was about to download debian, when I came across a little blurb about it not running with NTFS compatability...so no dual install on a win2k machine, eh? >
"So this penguin walks up to a giraffe, and opens a briefcase..." ...ever feel like you are missing the punch line?
knuckle-head is what old people call young people it is definitely jarhead, although I have been letting the hair grow out to about two inches or so, and wearing t-shirts, instead of stiff collars... watch it, or I'll swing by Brisbane again and look you up, and then tell your wife you sleep with
/me forgot the carne asada, and so passes a plate of that down as well
/me passes the tortillas, salsa, and nachos, along with a big bowl of fresh guac to bkb
heh...interesting... Sooooooo...I take one down, pass it around...Hippy, I said PASS it around
SuSE looked interesting when I was reading about it last night, except I couldn't figure out if both versions were free, and if not, what the price was. I also checked out debian. Didn't get to Mandrake yet...have to check that out today. Thanks all- ps - (Moshi) Kjofol is my favorite player <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/smile.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddl
I tried red hat 6 a while ago, and got totally lost. A few years and a couple of books later, I am thinking of retrying Linux, but now there are...what...fifty distros or so? Any informed suggestions?
Callahan's?...? I think I missed that one... and thanks Jafo...you know jarheads are good at one thing, and anunciation/pronunciation/grammar stuff ain't it ps...the only collective I am familiar with is keeping the friggin chopper running straight
I've always been partial to guacamole. There was a little place down in Tijuana that had THE WORST rootbeer...but the guac...heh...now THAT was another story!
Frogboy, if I am not intruding, and yes, you can be vague, is there any benefit from clicking the banner ads on this site? Do you get something tangible from clicks, or only if the other end actually makes a sale? If you just need clicks, I'd be more than happy to start doing that, as well as trolling, I mean perusing and being active on the message boards. You know, I only hang out on this board because I lack the skill to get upgraded to a 1 on a skin rating <img src="http:/
I love this place. Whether you like it or not, this site is democracy at work (secrectly financed and truely run by aliens, who take turns posing as Frogboy)... Freedom of expression, to be allowed or removed based on your overall accountability to act as a decent part of the community, to do as you will for the most part, to have access to opinions and creations of others...I like it here. Sorry, I haven't downloaded anything. This doesn't mean I don't like or appreciate the a
/me joins Hippy in wonder and amazement... HIMAGOOBAH!
you use a chisel? hmmm...no wonder...
Cool! Glad to finally be of some use around here
Cool. Thanks everyone. So if not yahoo or hotmail, what is recommended for a decent email program?
who gets to be the moderators for these skin submissions?
I also just read that it(Wbiff) is based off of xbiff for Unix...so maybe it wouldn't run on my windoze box anyways...
It looks pretty cool. I saw something called Wbiff!, but the link from Russ' site led to a dead end. Wbiff! appears to run along the same theme as far as an app goes, and is apparently skinnable. But I am having trouble finding the app for download to see... And I really like the EzPop app. It was small, efficient, and looked well done in my opinion
there ain't much on Google for troubleshooting desktopX either, sorry... I'd send an email to stardock's team...
actually, I don't think that link will be what you are looking for. Maybe this will be a bit better... https://www.stardock.net/media/dx_mediaguide.htm There doesn't appear to be much out there I can find readily...
Hey, it appears either no one thinks they know the answer, or are busy elsewhere. I don't use the app, or have any programming background or anything, but this might give you some help if you haven't already seen it... https://www.stardock.com/products/desktopx/tutorial/build/sound.htm
...like an idiot, I also just realized this site does not support EzPop skins anyways. Crap. So I guess I get to go choose a different app to attempt to decently skin now
Well poop. Thanks for the help Moshi! And thanks Treetog. How's life been treating you? Been a while
