clicked the link and got the "Go Away" message. No other html on the page...checked the source code (unless it is server side and they are pissing because I am currently using IE) Apparently they ain't worth a damn...move along...

i wish i had learned php a while back. now i have asp in my head and have no desire to pick up the extra .net stuff. i haven't heard enough positive to back it, although i have been hearing more and more positive about php and it's supposed ease of use with perl scripting...which is a whole new arena for me as well. right now i just dabble with mixing asp and html, while trying to throw in xml learning on the side as well... to many languages out there and not enough bandwidth

wow...just looked through the code...what did you use to create that, out of curiosity? i think it is the absolute coordinates you have your div tags set to for location that may be causing the page to go off peoples' screens... just a guess, since trying to pick it apart in dreamweaver didn't help me figure it out much...

you'd have to set up some script to recognize the browser type and screen resolution, then have it call a different indexing (or other) page depending on the mentioned user's resolution. it looks like you have it set to total width not accounting for the scroll bar on the right. if you have a master table with the rest autosizing to 100%, you can just shrink the master by X pixels...say ten or so. Dunno, gotta look at your code, and I'm pro'lly least qualified around here to offer these suggesti

if your dvd player states it can play mp3 files, then it should be able to read off of cd-r's, right? doesn't say it can read non-mp3's or non-dvd's, but the hardware the mp3/dvd is written on CAN be a cr-d, right? it isn't saying i HAVE to write mp3's to a blank dvd to play it in the dvd player, right?

i'm usually d/l'ing stuff from multiple sites at once while running online streaming video with the volume nixed so i can hear the streaming audio from musicmatch at the same time with a couple IM windows open and usually cleaning out the HD in the background from the junk I d/l'ed earlier that day. broadband is nice...
