yeah, much more personable responses, especially if you are polite when you ask, and respond... speaking of which, i am debating on switching from the ASP i have been learning, to PHP. does anyone know good newbie sites to learn the lingo and what is required to set a site up?

you can check the tut's on www.photoshopcafe.com for some cool stuff on scanlines, and other interesting starter points, although they won't, by themselves, get your work past the moderators. but used extremely creatively, they might add a little something that is already fairly decent...dunno.

i'm still trying to figure this out... 3d Studio runs what...a couple grand, right? So how the hell do so many p[eople claim to be using it, and then state they have crappy day jobs that pay around or under 50k a year? Am I missing something or is there a decent array of people blatantly proving day-in and day-out they are using illegal copies?
