By the words, seems like there are sightly offended people just because they do it, know how it always made the games so easier for them, but don't like to admit it. I said nothing against people who do this, you guys didnt liked it because yourselves don't like to do this, exacly why I ask for discouragement of it. I used to do that for long especially when I didn't knew or wasn't experienced in the game and still I always had in mind that is wasn't the exacly way to be playin

So, found a mount that is better than... braes. I wish they make a lot of portraits and make a big customizability for the Channeler is the one character that can represent the player like said. Maybe even at the multiplayer games, players can have it's own more personalized Channeller, like pictures and some colors maybe. The heroes, I think you find them along your jorney and they might be random in the looks and we can't change them. But the Chann

I certainly don't have anything against anyone who uses it if really wants it that way, why would I anyway? In my own opinion, save-load turns the game more into larbor than challenge. I used it before (back at when I used to play Civilization: Call to Power) and stoped when I noticed that, exacly because you will win and you got a huge advantage over the AI. To lose a game can also be fun, especially when the game is well made to be fun all along and by loosing, you will enjoy when you

Yes, some change of variables was also adressed in Knights of honor based on game time instead. Probably aleatory but hard coded spaces of time; if your spy would fail even by loading many times it still will. I find these protections very important, without them it shorten the game life for the player. They should learn their mistakes and go along with them, to choose other strategies to cover were their failed and not repeat it in the next game. Most important thing imo, is exacly beca

I find combing quite fun in games where magic is involved and it may allow for strategies, would it work in elemental? After a combo attempt the caster would be very vulnerable because of the use of his powers or mana, so it would need precautions and probably be used has a final strike strategy and different combing allow for different results, but all quite expensive in power demands. Spells like a freeze or silence, after a meteor, or a self buff for protection just aft

100 spells are much more than I would expect. It doesn't need more than it, after all the spells need to be balanced and quality is preferable over quantity especially in this where spells are so important in the game. Better less that are cool (nicely animated) and usefull than tons of useless skills. I hope a big part of them will stand has ultimate ones (or usefull till late game), instead of only a few. I mean, that allow for different late game strategy instead of just a few ultimate one

Animations and design are very important indeed, more than some think I'd say. When well done, they add to replayability and create more sympathy towards the game from the player. I commented about that in a Demigod topic and also at Sins, in which the Strike Crafts general animation and AI was what added much replayability to me; I simply enjoy seeing them in action and how they play in the game too. And be clear that it isn't the same as graphical quality. I never had the chance to play MoM

Thinking more of Hero Based Strategy Game (making it Hero-Based-Strategy / seeing it together), it's not bad but still, what about a game that have almost all commom features of a commom strategy game and also have heroes implemented? Of course the heroes in Demigod are game-ending. But a most important thing, there is a necessity at strategy games of all sorts (tactical included), to denominate if it is Real-time or Turn-based and Hero-Based Strategy don't specify that. Without it I think it

RTT: Real Time Tactical. I think you shouldn't be putting things like Hero in a genre, many games are based on the hero idea so it may not help defining much. And searching it, looks like it already exists and fits the best. It's at least some sort of it. "Real-time tactics ( RTT [ 1 ]

Of course it is not a RPG, it just have RPG elements, which is another thing. I can't say Demigod is good or not because I never played it, but there is a lot of RTS out there and great ones with that known replay ability of the genre. So I don't see it bad that Demigod persuit something else, it's easy to find a pure and good RTS if someone wants it, why need it to be always another one to add to the pile? Anyway, whatever the game is, it's elements still need to work, be done right and be f

They almost always atack the same planet or another that you conquered more close to that. Just have 3 or more hangars (not less) and upgrade them earlier if there is it. Build only bombers at the hangar. Remember then something: when you are being atacked by anything, you can and many times should build things while being atacked. Most times, and pirates I'm sure, won't just go to destroy your builder ship, they don't bother with that, so you should build the plataform defenses close to wher

I didn't wanted to meant that I want a empire management like those TBS games, but more than it is in Sins actually, and so feel more attached to the empire I builted and have more features than just the warfare to deal with and make decisions over. I like Sins, I don't wish it to change completly or else I would just go buy GalCiv. To adapt some more empire management. I also think it does what it was ment to do well and will achieve more with the expansions to come. I just know a

Is some kind of Civilization/GalCiv2 valid in real time? Sins is foccused on tactical and battles than empire management, I would like to see both. Sins makes for some epic matchs, but then when I think about starting again, preparing a fleet to war is the only thing there to persuit again. I wish I could augment skills (learn/use some time) in other areas like making the planets good with bases and control the population especially deal with important trade routs (protect them) and products

Then maybe have some kind of strike craft on them, but I guess many ships; structures already have that. Or slow long range missiles. But also feature a medium reach arround it that ensures protection to some phase lines (so the player still have to strategically place the Starbase), that when someone invades it, the firing power is bigger since it could use other weapons like beans that supposedly won't go far has the long range guided missiles. Those missiles or some craft could jus

There is a big number of players that don't like games, or even computers in general. They play it because they are addicted or/and lack social skills in some cases. Some think they like games when in reality they don't. I'm partly like that, even tough I enjoy games I spent more time reading about them, and hardly will be enjoying a game more then 2 weeks unless is something exceptional (and long/replayability). It's pretty easy that some gamers will lose the interest in a game quickly, than
I simply can't believe that in the last two months before release a game can shape up from the acceptable minimum to outstanding timeless classic. But I BADLY want to be prooved wrong.
If they are significantly dependent of testers and have a considerably core of testers like you, I doubt it too. Hardly anyone will make a game to be a classic, they try to make a good game has they can. Many artists that did a painting didn't know it would be a classic, it's

Thank you. I like to keep editing and trying to improve draws while listening to music sometimes. I have edited that a lot . [e digicons]^_^'[/e] Still need to try more realistic fire, your last draw will inspire me better. I now see that I obsviously need more yellow there. You could make other versions of your last draw, like making that tiger come out (be aparent) since it fits perfectly. Than you have the slug and the tiger (panter?) version

Aside the slug that I think it's the most aparent, I managed to see a wolf or tiger and a kind of triceratops. A tiger or wolf is very plausible, there is even the complete spectrum of a big rested tail, leg mussles and what could be the face. Thats an interesting mount, I like the way it moves... I pronounce it Murderous Mud Spider-esque of Earth or Murderous Earth Elemental of the Stinky Soil aka 'Mess'. Edit: The draw is not a mess of course, it's plausible and a bit genial if I dare to say so, because it seems very hard to invent some kind of new plausible mount physionomy (tought copied from a spider ... Boom, lawsuit! ), but it's just the way I call the thing. Some

Very good article with the many facets aborded. Not mad. We should stop these fighting thing because might make Stardock foruns look bad. I just wanted to give my opinion in peace. Yea, the thing about my english is that if it were generally bad there could be less complaining about it, because it would cleary show that is someone foreign and needs to be respected dispite that. Also because I wrote a "wall" like said. I've seem many worst spelling than mine, even from whom has it has native (probably not at Stardock foruns tough). I try to
