Nice to know that the AI will adapt to mods. I play Single Player a lot. I hope this game manage to have an attractive multiplayer tough, with co-op. I'm sure I'll join this one. I really think the custom stuff will be somewhat balanced for this game. This will be just a matter of having some different things for your many games, with also different stats/characteristics. Balanced content will have a separated section, and Stardock might test and guarantee the most popular ones.

Sounds really good. I guess this wouldn't work for SP since how the AI would identify what is better to produce? (I hope this game have SP...) If there is I hope this path don't let the SP too limited in production for the ones who like it. Hope its another feature, and not one that would exist and eventualy cover other productions. If not, is just great to allow, seems viable, and will certainly be used and make the matchs more different and varied, without changing the vanila gameplay way s
Quoting psychoak, reply 16 Flyguy, horses are the mount of choice because they're cheap and relatively bright. There is actually a surprisingly wide variety of animals that would work very well for mounts, they're just cost prohibitive, rare, or both. The main factor is domestication, horses can be and live off grass, bears can't and have a much stickier diet. Bears would probably make outstanding cavalry if you could afford to capture and raise them in numbers sufficient

The game is just colorful and the graphic don't look deep yet because isn't finished. If you look the character/creatures models or faces, they are not cute. Most people like and isn't to much influenciable over graphics, likeing the different kinds there are. There are many games out there you can call 'cartoon', and if you don't feel confortable with that, you are the one restricted from enjoying many good games. A lot of fantasy games choose a colorful look and fit to it, the same thing is

I like the 'Chickens of Doom' model a lot. Grow the chicken and what you have is something like the Chocobo of FF, or better yet, the small dinos (Ostrich, Ostards) of Ultima Online. To decide upon mounts, they must first create the world idea, or the magic that lies there. Ultima Online for exemple, is only Horses and the Ostards (and the very rare possibility of tamming a rideable Dragon, but not for the masses). Thats what was avaliable, with no need of explanations, feeling good and speci

Thats exacly my card, I bought it some months ago. I have Dead Space and is just very smooth. I use the max settings except for resolutions. I use 1024x768 (or lower) for all games (even if the card can handle more), that is my monitor resolution, so I never get to force it. Graphics can easily be pretty enougth for me. There was no time I wished more from any game that the card could not provide me. Its very good at cost-benefit. It just freaked me out how hot it can get by default a

Thanks for the responses. Let me go off topic, some are talking about Master of Magic, are there patchs of graphical enhacements for it? Be it fan or company. Give me link or title please.

I want to try something Elemental is being inspired of. Being it AoW what would be the best version of it in the opinion of you who played? I think there is AoW, AoWII and AoW:SM in this order of release right? What the best game experience? Gameplay mostly.

While I don't have anything against that, it could be different side by side. Instead of Men and Fallen have each 6 factions, Men could have 6 and Fallen just 3 but these 3 be more variable/different. It would be more in-deth, allows for better storytelling, leting things more realistic (immersive) and less symmetric. Games tends to follow these symmetrical correlations a lot, would be likeable to change.

At first 99% human batles may not sound fun, but it's for higther fun actualy. This means each creature will be valuable, rare and fun to have, it will have overall more consideration. If someone explore and is able to find an unicorn, that by the tales is very very rare, then it can protect your armies and heal them. They will be strategic units. Just like they said having 2 or 3 Dragons means you won. I liked that so much, because that means fantastic units are very important and thus more

Isn't that a whole point of the game? To decide between having power to your Channeler or to use it to ipgrade the kingdom? Its the whole point. If you be greedy and use it a lot for the kingdom progress, your Channeler will be weaker and you may die. I think we are the Channeler just like in Demi God (but i can be wrong). I think it needed to finish if he dies because that will make the gamaplay more intense and people be more careful about it. I don't have much know

I don't play games much, unfortunately, I mostly read a lot (really a lot) about games. Before, I could play games all day and be immersed, but has I gained a few more years I lost most of it. I bought Fallout 3, and its very good. The Graphics, story (it seems) and general. But, even tough I didn't wanted it to be it, I got very lazy for story and progressing games. I feel has if only at the end I would get the top satisfation out of the game. Thats why I'm at Megaton and don't feel
Hello! I have a couple of questions already! 1. The graphics looks a bit weird to me, especially the trees and the environement. This part of the game will be upgraded? Also, can we modify the graphics also? [Environement, items, units, etc.]
Taken from the Journals: "Screenshots... The graphics seen in the screenshots are still very early on. The lighting and such aren't really in yet. The idea is to con

Or is the game developed to allow to play the others? If so, but apart from that, will each faction have its own kingdom/structures style/method (say, dragon caves), or are they just powerfull NPCs that wander about and only the Human race take part in kingdom organization and diplomacy between them?

The value for SoaSE is better than most games, I think OP just got confused about the 3 pieces comming and not even thought strait. The expasions might has well have great value just for comming in 3 parts, because each can be more relevant or maybe not. Some games don't even have any replayability and costs more than SoaSE Anyway the value for the game is good, but complainers are bound to come. The first version of the game did lacked polishing, but the price was low, the ga

Taken from another forum user [ clowning , GS user, SR2 forum] "The problem with piracy and theft is not just a matter of money, but it is also a violation of trade. Basically, the pirate/thief is coercing a trade agreement that one party does not want. This breaks down the trade system that exists in the world, whereby people VOLUNTARILY on BOTH sides of an arrangement agree to a price fo

I'm very excited for this game. Galactics Civilizations is a very good game with a lot of content, I like that they go after new things and are always innovative. This new game seems like it will have a cleaner or simplier look with huge open enviroment, and the different setting. They do the right choice in varying and looking for new settings IMO. Eventually they will go back to tittle sequences. Its also very important that they like what they are doing; to keep at one thing over to much m

Has I imagine the generals. I think the player playing a General, shouldn't control, himself/directly, the minions. Thats because the game is leaded towards the Demigods, and that would cut the feel. Instead he uses his Demigod to give orders, which means there isn't such a thing has cliking the minions. You select only places and objectives instead. Some points: There could be a range, demarking how much far away can minions go away from the general. Thats because there is a ne

"So Sins of a Solar Empire has already set some awesome precedents for how strategy and tactics ought to be handled in a real time strategy game. One thing though that I have lamented over many times while sending my fleets out to wipe out a Vasari strike force is the lack of any decent defensive measures or options for players. The current true options for the defense of a system or system chain revolve around the turbolaser like batteries, starfighter platforms, jump drive inh

I rarelly see something I so much agree on. I'm in agreement with all the legitimate and Illegitimate complaints shown there about DRM for exemple. There are many things I thought recently about how counter-productive were the methods used by some companies, that is, how they make the illegal way much more pleasing has they restrict the legit player too much with bad DRM choices and even go against, sometimes, the commom rights for the acquisition of intelectual properties. This way one can s

vain 1. Since they are like assassins for rent, they should have all equipment to fufill their renters wishes and when they pay bounty to atack they are supposed to atack at best, if not there was no reason to pay them. I guess you can also tell them to atack planets? but neither way it seems logic in my opinon. About 2. has it is, you tell them to atack a target, it is like they made that fleet just for the annoyance, till death atack. Like their renters bought that fleet. Though

Guess that Ignore option is easy and should be considerable to ease the company life. Becouse if they create a comunity they are bound to make it work without chaos(if they want to make it correctly), is just like real world. So ban people who hack or talk-trash would be the best way, but just use a Ignore could ease their life a lot. But also it dont make wrong the fact that sameone really should try to prepare themselves for this kind of person, in life and even most abusible on inter
