_Golgoth_ when you have had enough of the campaign make sure you either download Dawn of Skirmish or Dawn of War Pro for either Dark Crusade or Soulstorm. Dawn of War Pro uses the improved AI of Dawn of Skirmish but rebalances for the elite community, depending what kind of player you are you need either 1 or the other. Bare in mind the improved AI effectively breaks the campaign but Skirmish games with any number of AI are an absolute blast and the single best RT

Fired up Sins and created AI only game (surrender, carry on playing) just to check out the changes such as research tree etc. First thing I noticed, probably not AI specific but Auto Cast behaviour that could seriously need tweaking. The Anatorak Marauder was the only ship in a Gravity Well apart from a scout so it went off to attack it. It had Phase Out Hull so what did it do? Phase out Scout, then Phase Out itself, then the scout, then itself until i

Azazel exploitable [e digicons]^_^[/e] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HuYgMlDMFaQ As for hardest boss I've ever played against in any type of game...I'd have to say the guy at the end of Quake 3 was harder than the guy at the end of Unreal Tournament, much to do with the fact there was nowhere to hide on the Q3 level! But biggest sense of achievement and most w

When he said Fighting games I'm pretty sure he meant Fighting Games, call me crazy. I'm not really the best Fighting Game player but the hardest usually equals the most cheap and with fewest exploits. Seth in SF IV is super cheap but can be exploited for example. I found Jinpachi a piss take and turned to unlocking characters by putting it on 1 round games. Not played Tekken 6 though. This is all relative though surely? I p

The only game I'll probably buy without checking reviews: World of Warcraft Cataclysm In the 'how dumbed down for consoles are they?' catagory but looking forward to and hoping they still make good PC games: Aliens Vs Predator Thief 4 Aliens Colonial Marines On my watch and likely to buy list: Stalker Metro 2033 Castlevania: Lord of Shadow Heroes of Newerth Settlers 7

Hi RestlessMind . Are you talking about vanilla Sins here? I haven't had a chance to try beta 2 of Sins Diplomacy yet but in beta 1 they already have this feature you talk about. Different factions start at different relationship levels to you. You do all start at war with one another effectively but you can b
all I can do is get to 24% relations by giving the AI stuff, the missions doesn't reward you, and I haven't been asked to do a mission in return. I know this is beta, but I'm wondering if I'm missing something. I see that the AIs are making friends w/ one another, but how do I make friends w/ them?
Short answer is you aren't able to. Currently the diplomacy is not really there as far as I can s
My apologies, I was reading through some web posts about Stardock's Goo system and thought it applied to Sins as well. From what you said, it doesn't. But I think it was a reasonable assumption to believe a developer would use their own DRM system. Maybe they will for the upcoming expansion.
Ironclad is the developer, Stardock is the publisher. GOO was released after Sins and so far only non Stardock products have used

A brief history to give you some perspective: FPS was a PC exclusive for a very long time, it wasn't until we started to get lots of interesting things happen in FPS that consoles started to be able to port the original FPSs like Doom and Wolfenstein 3D. At around that time we started to get games like Thief, Rainbow 6, the SWAT series, Tribes, Battlefield, Unreal Tournament and many of us were playing leagues and tons and tons of Counter Strike. FPS was cre
seriously? your just noticing the scale is a 'tad' off? look up 'sun', 'jupiter', and 'red giant' on wiki. if the game were to scale, yellow stars would be 109 times the diameter of the terran planets, gas giants would be up to 12 times the diameter of the terran planets, and a red giant star would dominate at 21800 times the size of a terran planet. sure, there are some stars the size of the earth (white dwarf), but there are plenty far bigger stars. oh, and the distances between plan

I agree DA looks fantastic. Oculus looks like they've taken a nice model and he's being moved around like a plastic toy soldier. When he slams the ground it looks bad, the whole way he is animated feels rush job and I guessed it was because he wasn't finished.

I'm afraid I can't shed light on this issue however I would advise that if you are getting it often that you and wheoever you are playing with make sure you close down Sins and boot the game again on each new game. It is likely to reduce the chance of out of synch errors as it could be residue from previous games causing issues.
