Oh, and RANDOM DEMIGOD if it isn't posted somewhere else. I know I've read someone mentioning it somewhere... I think we would see pretty interesting games if all players went with a random DG in a random teams game.
No. TB already eats up creeps effectively with the AoE skills he has and levels up more quickly than any other DG because of them. He doesn't need splash damage on his fireball.
Is this even an exploit? People keep calling it an exploit, but I haven't seen the devs confirm it yet. Sounds like a bunch of b!tching about something that isn't that big of a deal to me.
Bump.
Is there anyone left who would be willing to donate a 50% coupon? Thanks in advance.
Summoning more than one type of creep by selling the Idol is an exploit.
Is it? I haven't seen the devs confirm this. All I see is people b*tching about it back and forth. It seems if it were an exploit that it would have been summarily nerfed like they did with Erebus bite.
Flag locks win games. That's all there is to it. It's very frustrating when you're stuck on a team with prima donnas who save up thousands for artifacts but refuse to spend 250 on a capture lock.
I haven't read every post, but I think the only way to make the Karma idea work (or any idea that allows for anyone to ascribe negative rating to someone which would be viewable by all) would be to make it a voting scheme. Maybe after 5 people add [SD]Griefer to their banlist, then [SD]Griefer would get some bad Karma. If you make it so that anyone can subtract karma by themselves, it's going to be come an online clusterf*ck of people just giving negative karma be
A Random Teams option for custom games would be snazzy. People who don't want to worry team stacking can join or host a random teams game and leave the team selection completely up to chance. Skirmish and Pantheon don't satisfy this option because you aren't able to designate what sort of game mode you want to play.
You're going to need to sticky this and moderate it heavily for it to serve its intended purpose.
There sure is a lot of text in this thread. You bought the game. That entitles you to multiplayer. Just play.
It's easy, host your own game. No one *joins* custom games as a team, if they wanted to be a team they'd host their own game. Thus everyone who joins your custom game is completely random.
That's not actually true. There have been several instances where people join my games and ask to hold spots for a few friends they have coming. Also, after playing for a while, people get to know who the

You would have to find another game, just like if the hosts selects Fortress and you want to play Conquest, you would have to find another game.
I can't see the developers spending time on t
Is there any chance in the future of having a Random Teams option? This would eliminate players having to worry about team stacking. When I played Dawn of War, there was a strong preference for random teams games over other custom games because of that very reason - no worry about getting smoked by an arranged team while you're stuck with a team of who knows what skill level.
It depends on the time of day and the players. When it's night time here in the States, it's a crapshoot. There are at least two people (won't name names) who I simply cannot connect to no matter what. Don't know why.
People are mean
Hi, welcome to the internet.
I think this is a great idea and much needed. Alternatively, it could be made into a voting type system. Let the team decide as a whole if they're going to surrender or not.
Yeah, I know this has been mentioned in other threads, but it seems the only way to get anything done around here is to post a couple dozen new threads about the same topic (see: Erebus nerf). It's not fun for either the winners or losers to finish a game that is all over except for the dying. It's tedious on both parts. Please implement a surrender option, preferably in the form of a voting scheme; someone would initiate a move to surrender on their team, and the rest of
You sure do enjoy posting about erebus nerfing, don't you.

This might work better if the system maybe required 5 people to vote for the same player before they were added. That would be a little less questionable.
I predict that a reasonable and objective discussion will follow, completely free of invective as well as being free of anyone questioning anyone else's sexual preferences.
