Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but are you implying that pressing space bar to bring up a big map in the middle of your field of view is just as good as having that same map displayed on its own monitor, which doesn't require me to press space bar? Also, I would need to remember to press space bar while I'm micro-managing engineers or trying to defend my base or trying to plan my next route of attack, right? Not that any of this is impossible, but why settle? What would anyon

"You get used to it"? No, I'm afraid not. Every RTS I've ever played has had this; it is essential to efficiently and effectively responding to various events. I don't want to have to remember where I left everything; it should be easier to see them on the map, and there should be alerts for letting you know you get attacked (among other things).

It's tough to keep track of all that is going on in a big game, and I find the mini-map to be lacking. It's also helpful to receive clear notifications of a base or units under attack as well as a better depiction of units on the mini-map. SupCom had a feature that allowed the mini-map to be displayed on a secondary monitor. Any chance we can get that as well?

I'm finding that it's sometimes difficult to select all air units of the same type to assign them to a control group since they move around so much. When I draw a box around them with land units beneath them, I also get the land units in the group, which I do not want most of the time. Supreme Commander had hotkeys to select all units of the same type (CTRL+A selected all air units, CTRL+L selected all land units... can't remember sea units but it was probab

I recently installed Master of Orion 2 via Impulse, but it doesn't show up in my Impulse game list as being installed literally 50% of the time. It always shows as being available, but it just seems to decide to want me to reinstall every other time I open Impulse. I can launch the game via the Orion95.exe file, but the game performs... oddly... when I do. Help?

I downloaded MoO2 from Impulse recently, and the game has problems with intermittent stuttering and pauses which really slows down gameplay to annoying levels. Is there a way to tweak this? Has anyone else seen this? Also, when alt+tabbing, it reverts to windowed mode, and I can't make it maximize back to full screen. It is much more responsive on my 6 year old laptop running it from the original CD than it is on my desktop. I'm hoping that maybe there's a se

I stopped playing because it got too damn hard to get anything over a 3v3 going (largely due to small player base). You may consider trying out League of Legends. It's free, it has more characters, and it has a much larger player base. Every single game I've played is a 5v5, and it usually doesn't take more than (literally) 30 secs to get in a game. Demigod is a fantastic game, and I stuck with it for a long time hoping to see more fre

I've been playing LoL for almost a week now, and although I'm still not that great at it, I have noticed a few nice things: I haven't had a single issue with any players lagging up the game. I haven't had to wait forever to get a game started. All of the games I've played have been 5v5s. The quantity of champions and items is *awesome*. I have not had a single unhandled exception error, desync, menu lock up, or lobby crash forcing me to b

Here's another fine example of Prizmsmurf 's limitless class. Some people just can't stand to lose regardless of whether it's a good game or not.
See my replay of my oak vs peters minions, hammer rook and tb aren't the only ones that can deal with minions.
Fair point. I didn't even think about minion oak.

Oh, most assuredly. Hammer slam Rook and frost TB are only two who stand a chance at pushing him back, even then plenty of minions are still to come after the next wave of reinforcements dies all around you. Properly played, minion Ereb > all including slow stacking Reg.

I don't think it's any secret to anyone who's ever played with Purgespam to know that he's both a good player and a righteous tool when he's losing. This time he loses and accuses us of being premade, which, of course, we're not. It was unfortunate it had to end like this because it was a very good game [e digicons]:annoyed:[/e] . Yes, as a matter of fact, but I don't have proof. I hosted a "NO NOOBS/NO PREMADE". Someone joined who i asked to leave because they didn't have enough time played, they protested that "their account was wiped", let loose with some vulgarities, said brb, then dstroyurgame shows up almost immediately after, and my game crashes. All the stats show is that he hasn't played a game since May, that is correct. It looks like this is a griefer account made

Just stop. This section is for problem reports, and this is a problem. I'm not going to get into a semantics discussion here because 1) I'm right, and 2) I don't care if you want to go on sounding like an idiot - have fun! *Oh, and I have submitted several crash reports, just like countless others.

Exploit = to take advantage of. There is a bug with the game lobby that causes it to crash from time to time on exit or boot. Apparently, there is way to do this intentionally. Hence, this is an exploit. Exploit does not necessarily mean cheating . You should pick up a dictionary some time. It has all sorts of useful info like this! I'm frankly surprised you haven't seen it yourself. There are several hosts that simply

Everyone knows about the lobby crash bug that occurs somtimes when a player leaves or is kicked. Tonight, a person with the account name "dSTROYUrGame" joined my game, and lo and behold, the game was crashed. It was pretty obvious that this was done intentionally, and it worked on the first attempt. I'm sure the kiddo got a good laugh out of it, and he succeeded in annoying me. Please, devs, fix this sh!t. Why can't we ban people from joining?&nb
