i too hate the icon ... they are annoying and clutter up a desktop...i prefer my screen neat and concise. a good looking image in the back drop in my opinion shouldnt be covered wit lil images of stuff i rarely use ...i never need the my network one ..i clik a button on the sysmeter to empty the trash bin..besides i run litestep so most my shortcuts are added to the wharf bars... no muss no fuss

ok i hope u realize litestep dosent replace window blinds. litestep changes the desktop only not the windows, u will still need WB to make the windows skinned .. with that said... id sugest u first dl a theme u like and then start modifying it as u get used to how the images are used u will also start to see how litestep uses the images to build your desktop. at litestep.net theres many doc's u can read on working with litestep...as for the graphics parts ,theres many more here who are better qu

good ideas guys and thx for the help. il prolly use the copper deck icons i had colored here https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?library=13&SkinID=1111 for the desktop. and im not sure but i dont really like the way the media buttons look on the sysmeter i think il have to do a little retasking

look at the desktop i made while goofin around trying ideas for the other theme. its in my profile. is a litestep theme with matching rainy and sysmeter .. im gona work on the WB and icons tomorrow [Message Edited]
