People read that? I thought it was like the README. There was some unwritten law NOT to read them.
In a perfect world, I'd be able to stab people in the face through my PC. But since I don't live in a perfect world, I just have to deal with people getting on web forums and not reading anything. Maybe if we turned the OP into some kind of web comic with lots of pictures instead of words it would get looked at

Read the OP. Inbuilt Mini-Mods: Sound Effect Replacement MOD: Enchanced and/or replaced sound effects and replaced Battle music, it mostly consists of the remastered versions of the Haegemonia: The Solon Heritage OST, Band Of Brothers OST and the menu music is from E.S. Posthumus.
Hahaha. Farmer's daughter... XD
The problem isn't the extension needing to be changed, the problem is what program is associated with the extension. In all versions of windows the solution is the still the same. To get a different program to be the default opener of said file type, you have to go the 'open with' route and check the always use box or find the option inside the program itself that sets file type associations. Windows Vista/7, in an effort to reduce costs, Microsoft stopped i
hah. I imagine that when J'rah tries to call Draakjacht he get's that 3-tone thing from the phone company and a message that says, "We're sorry, the person you are trying to call thinks you're a fucking oversized cricket and would like to stab you in the face. If you believe you've reached this message in error, please hang up and try again." *busy signal*

2 causes are that you have nothing to unzip a 7z file with, or that you tried to open up a 7z file before with notepad and now the extension is associated with it. To fix, make sure you have something that can unzip a 7z file, like 7zip or winRAR. Right click on the file and mouse over open with on the menu that comes up, then select choose default program in the side menu. click on browse, navigate to whichever program you've got and make sure the always us

(Personal / DS) Rumors continue to swirl on Finley 1. Vasari have been confirmed, but the Advent... A line in the sand has begun to form. On one side, there are those that believe that the powers that be are being controlled and are manipulating the population. On the other, the people that just don't care as long as their quality of life continues to improve. To make matters worse, both sides are divided on the whole issue of the Va
How do you know it's a boy?
You don't need any training, most of us suck and we all just play for fun anyway. Best way to learn though is just get in there and join us.
Yeah, sorry, wasn't that kind of a visit. Headed home in 30 though.
While normally I'd agree with such an assessment on how humidity affect the feel of the temperature, having lived in both types, I can honestly tell you that at some point humidity ceases to matter. Hot is just hot wet or dry. The only difference is personal preference over which is less uncomfortable. For me, personally, I prefer the humid hot over the dry hot, because the dry hot kills you much faster. Humid hot, you feel it coming, dry hot, you just drop dead.
I'd be in game except I'm in DC right now and my game is something like 2600 miles away at the moment. =] Can't get on TeamSpeak either, not that I'd have much time until later tonight anyway.
(Personal / DS) On Finley 1 an attendant walks into Henry's office and waits by the door for him to finish writing stuff down on his papers. Once he's finished, he looks up and acknowledges her. "Sorry to interrupt you sir, but you have an urgent message from a Captain Seigel." she says. "Thank you, I'll look it up here." he says punching in some commands on the computer nearby. "Also s
Not specifically, no, but at some point I or someone else will look into it and see what it takes to get it to work. We could probably be pressured into taking a stab at it sooner if you downloaded teamspeak and bugged us. ;Þ
It appears as though your friend is not getting all of the files into the mod folder, hence the lower checksum. Unzip the files to the desktop first, then copy them over to the mod folder. The version of windows in use doesn't matter, just the contents of that folder. If the problem persists, maybe try unhooking from the internet and turning off all of windows and 3rd party security features (DEP, antivirus, antispyware, firewalls), unzip to
It did minidump again during my mop up operations after I had defeated 1 AI and was on my way to stomping on the second... Nothing got saved in the file so I can't be more useful then that. I'm gonna jump back in to the last save and try to recreate a few situations that I know I was in to see if I can get a repeat dump.
The checksum matched, however I would recommend a restart of the game after applying the mod since the loaded meshes all change. I started a game and mini dumped right away. My thoughts, I played a 6 player map against 3 AI's. I built the maximum number of hanger defenses that I could at every planet, built starbases with max strike craft hanger upgrades at every planet, Built my normal set of cap ships, all had their strike craft... The Ai's w
Yeah I saw. Thanks. ;Þ
Downloading and will give it a try tonight.
The resource spawns are 0 to 6, all depending on the type of planet you get. My memory is a little fuzzy since it's been a long time since I looked, but it goes something like moons have 0 to 2, dwarf have 1 to 3, normal have 2 to 4, and giant have 4 to 6. If you use my better gas giants minimod, those can have 6 to 16 depending on which one and how lucky you are.
@Manic It's not that they start better then you it's that they being AI's get to cheat a little bit, plus AI's multitask a hell of a lot better then you and I. I can almost guess that you're a turtle player in the sense that you don't expand quickly because you're busy covering your ass before you move on. Before you mess with anything, try a new strategy. It's called "get out there and grab some planets puto." Basically, everyone is starting off with the sam
