if you deleted the effects folder, then it shouldn't have shown the effects. you must be deleting it from the wrong mod, but since your saying your using 1.3d, not the patch.... did you enable and then disable 7DS? make sure it loads on start-up. Don't remove things from the game info folder, because that's where the ship information is. if you delete that, you won't have any capital ships to use.

Imho, its human nature to fight. We will *never* have peace. Unless of course, an Alien Invasion comes, but after the invasion is over, there will continue to be large scale disputes. Its only until a leader comes, one who has the courage to unite all of humanity, will we ever be at peace.
