My eyes hurt. And I'm obviously stupid. btw... does it work or not? [e digicons]*_*[/e]
I recently played Sins Galactic Empire Mod and really like the smaller ship sizes along with the larger attack range. It made the wells larger, and space battles are long range SPACE battles. My question is was this done on purpose and why is the default games ships so big compared to well size? People keep saying the planets are to small, but if the ships are able to be shrunk down why not? The only thing that throws me is the smaller area that r

Have'nt read anywhere about the smaller scale of the ships in any of the posts. I like it alot, the wells become instantly larger, and ships seem to have longer range, meaning these are battles from across space, not Police Squad on top of each other battles. And I'm finding this game uses alot less ram then a comparable Requiem game, probably with the Diplomacy stuff and starbases thats the difference.

Star Trek Judgement Rites was my first real pc game.
You get to play with six different races. 3 great originals and 3 new ones. Fun, fun, fun!
I'll try Vanilla Sins Maelstrom when I get home tonight. Wish it would rain some weekends. Sad. I. Know.
Are the new races additional to the original races, or replaces them?
btw you know what pisses me off, when new videocards are reviewed in magazines/or online they use the lastest cpu on the market, not the two year old cpu most of us have in our machines. So this way I could see if UPGRADING to the newest card makes sense for a two year old system. Chances are if you have the latest cpu extreme edition you already have the latest videocard.
The best looking ship in game, and I mean this sincerely is the Advent tradeship. It would look even better, if it flew backwards.
Or simply put, the "death star" would ALWAYS be the empires homeworld.
Quick question, if I have diplomacy how do i boot up to just vanilla?
Even if it did nothing it would look cool. Maybe if the empire lost that ONE planet/death star its game over.
Some one needs to make a planet Death Star mesh
Video cards have always been expensive, in fact you probably get more performance for your dollar than ever before. The difference is you dont have to buy the cards now, you can just play the console version of it, Just think of how many video cards Crysis sold, now that Crysis 2 will be available on consoles, hardware makers now have one less customer. The only way to stop this bleeding is if hardware makers deman
Their website has no new NEWS since 12/09. No mention of even the discontinuation of graphic cards, that info is just from a press release that's not even on their site. Plus other forums say people are getting no response from the company at all. RMA's and all. It's sad really.
Just found out BFG Tech the maker of the only cards that have ever been in my system since the Voodoo 2, has basically gone belly up. I attribute this to the fact that if there are no pc exclusive titles that push hardware sales the market will dry up. Hardware makers should be working hand and hand with game makers for pc exclusives otherwise people will just buy a console for half the cost of a high end graphi

My first Wing Commander game was #3 Heart of the Tiger. I remember installing 8 megs of addition ram/ up from the 4 I had, just so I didnt have to look at Mark Hamel's face sitting in the cockpit waiting to launch! But it did the job...from half a minute to seven seconds.....whew..
Been playing this game for 2 years...still don't know what, how , why to use the thumb tack pinning feature in the Empire Tree. Help

Go to task manager, close all programs you dont need, and set Sins to real time priority. Dont forget to lower AA settings and you might need to keep your games in the 25 - 30 planet range.
