Well at least he bought it, but still its like taking cloths out of a store and wearing them for a few days before paying the store and that is currently not socially acceptable.
Magical weapons, like a flaming sword, a staff with a glowing tip. More city styles, the cities of each faction look too alike for my tastes. Also a feature in the faction workshop to chose what land type or faction will have under its influnce(Tundra, grassland, temperate, desert and jungle.) Better dimplomancy, and more "dialogue" between factions, ability to marry the AI leaders, and more facial expressions. (Fear if your kicking the enemy factions butt, neutral if your relationshi
Also, could someone let us know exactly what the extra game material is like. Is it a campaign with the same quality as the one in game already or something else?
Make a seperate thread for that this is for constructive book reviews. :)
I know I was scared when I started reading! :P I was pleasantly surprised as well, and I too am about half way through but I am liking what I am reading so far. :)
I would recommend it myself, its an AWESOME game.
Lets have a single thread dedicated to peoples reviews and thoughts on Elemental: Destiny's Embers As for my part the book is actually not that bad, infact its nowhere near as bad as some reviews make it out to be. Granted its no LOTR either but its certainly not a bad read. In fact if you want a book thats an easy read I would day that this book fills that bill. And given its price I do feel that anyone who is interested in the world o
Just got the book for my nook, where is the code to enter for your free DLC when it comes out?
Just trying to get attention :P and with all the trolling going on the past few weeks its infectious :D
I think this is already available as a down load using impulse its called "war of magic" once you download it then choose load when starting a new game .. you also have to have "use mods" selected in game options...
Where in impulse do you go to find it? I am not seeing a "downloads" area...
Title says it all.
LOL never mind its only been a day....
Maybe some of us would like to marry the AI leaders? That Queen Procipinee is pretty hot you know :P
I think in terms of the dyanasty sytem that Sovereigns should all start single, this way you the player can marry a particular Sovereign if your relationship is good enough, or as a last ditch effort for whatever faction/ or yourself to avoid complete destruction. Currently all the Sovereigns start married and have children, while your Sovereign does not, and currently thats no fair and limits some interesting possibilities.
Customization: Ideas for the tutorial missions: https://forums.elementalgame.com/395839 Customization: Marrying other Sovereigns and starting single: https://forums.elementalgame.com/395840
My Idea is this, have the first few tutorials take place on Elemental BEFORE the cataclysm that way people can see what Elemental was like. Then have the next tutorial missions take place DURING the cataclysm and then have the last mission take place directly after, in short have the tutorial set the stage for your game. Make it a story unto itself.
I agree, its too early to get multiplayer up and running, while single player is still broken. I think it would be best if they waited longer before muliplayer release. Lets get the game stable before adding another unstable element too it. :)
Im waiting on the harem and marry the other faction leaders mod.
I too will stand by Stardock and co. I believe they deserve my respect and loyalty. They have done so much that other companies simply refuse to do. EA is an awesome example. Anways Elemental was a mistake in the way it was handed and everyone is entitled to make mistakes yes? However I know that stardock will at least try to ammend the mistakes they made, and thats saying alot. So therefore they will have my continued support.
Quoting shadowtongue, reply 3 Well the text is what you get when you hire 'professional' writers apparently. I wonder if random house is taking any flak from any of this.I think, since Frogboy wrote the Elemental book, which was published by Random House, what they meant by "Written by professional writers from Random House!" was "Frogboy wrote the descriptions". Also, I agr
Ok in a future patch down the road... actually make the destroyed villiage actually look like a destroyed villiage rather than what appears to be a pile of crates... Still that is a good visual aide for those having issues with that part of the campaign.
Come on I want to marry that Queen Procipinee chick! Also more spells and more spells unique to each faction. Also more "magical" spells. The current spells seem so used and uninspiring.
An Idea that was left out. Channelers/Kingdom/Empire leaders should start out single, and you the player should have the option/ability to marry another leader if certain conditions are met, such as a good relationship, decent power ect ect.
While I am a fan of this game I am just now noticing some issues that are totally unacceptable I will number them out so the staff can easily see them and take proper action. 1. Novice difficulty is too hard, I keep get steamrolled by the AI within 20 to 30 turns, they have a huge military and many more cities than I can make. The novice difficulty should be easy, I mean its supposedly the easiest oppenent to beat. Therefore one would assume the Ai would be a push over, well its not.<
Your wife is a cheating whore! OFF WITH HER HEAD!
LOL bigots! XD Should we sue for discrimination practices?!?! XD LOL a same sex marriage used to increase diplomatic prestige or something... :P
