If what I have seen adds up, we will have a civil war before the war of magic occurs. I recall seeing something called the Nobles Revolt" which Relias and the other factions rebel against New Pariden. I have had incidents of spells being failed to cast, resulting in the loss of mana but the spell not activating. This is the important part, this occurs on my turns even opening turns before any enemy can cast counter spell. I can also recast the spell on the same turn, and the spell generally executes properly on the second "turn" Anyone else has this issue? I have no idea what your talking about with the monsters, I have the world difficulty on novice and the monsters are a very serious threat, I also got a random event where they all got PO'ed and their numbers increased. Its to the point I don't dare leave a city unattended.
