It's a downright ridiculous PR stunt, I honestly do not know whose bright idea it was... It's a secret de Polichinelle that an online press conference will be held on Wednesday/Thursday - gog has gone out of beta phase.
So on wednesday they will either announce that they are bankrupt or that they are retarded idiots..... Why not impulse? Brad should be on the phone with GoG to see if they can absolve GoG's game licenses. Th

Here is their announcment: http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/5014/gogshutdown.png Dear GOG users, We have recently had to give serious thought to whether we could really keep GOG.com the way it is. We have debated on it for quite some time and, unforunately, we have decided that GOG.com simply cannot remain in its current

I just read on another forum post from GoG user that GOG is dead - he posted this screenshot of message he recieved after he logged in. Site is currently down. I am currently unable to login into my GoG account so I cant verify. http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/5014/gogshutdown.png I hope its not true. If its is, I am shocked - I always assumed that they were small, but popular.

People don't realise that if Steam does become the monopoly that controls distribution then they're going to have to "Jailbreak" their steam client/games to get the full functionality they want (modding). Seriously is there anyone whom hasn't mod chipped or jailbroken some sort of hardware that they own so that they can get more functionality from the platform they paid for? I've already noticed the

I'd suggest saving it rather then opening it in a browser, as it's quite large (233 pages, 25MB).
That's a nice manual. I wish it verified a few more things on MP, but maybe that's just my new response to MP after Paradox and Stardock MP disasters. I will assume it's the same as it has always been

Frogboy The Age of Wonders series is going to be on Impulse shortly. So players will at least be able to try that out and see how others have approached it. They were unwilling to put their titles onto Impulse. Q: How many channels is Elemental going to be available from in addition to retail and Impulse? I'm not complaining about

If ever proof was needed of how important Valve's Steam platform has become to many PC developers, look no further than the tale of Introversion, the developers of Defcon and Darwinia, whose company was saved by a Steam sale. Despite a string of cult successes like Uplink, Darwinia and Defcon (pictured), the British developers had run into some tough times recently, and had gone from being a "proper" studio, with an office and staff, to having to fire most of their workers, sell their

However, I do know that Impulse::Reactor is platform independent and could be sold on Steam without an issue. If this is real (timestamp would have been better, as would a link) then Stardock is probably trying to show how it can be sold "anywhere" and to get a few more sales. Steam is already pretty saturated. [/q
