That's what the damn paper I got today from customs says, 22,60 Euros + Taxes.
Heretic
Def never ordering a physical copy from Stardock again 49,95 for Elemental 20,00 for Limited Edition Upgrade 20,00 for shipping 29,5 + TAXES for some customs crap I'm really pissed. I remember buying some huge collector's edition from USA some years back and that was about a total of 20 dollars in shipping and from Great Britain somewhere around 10 dollars for a phone. Never have I seen this crap happen before, the damn shipping just Cost almost as m

I hate to ask but I'm going to anyways... how long did it take you to come up with that code?
Just a quick note about .NET and xml, the built in xml libraries and serialization are extremely handy for quickly developing a application that handles serialization and deserialization of some xml type. I have to say I agree with that, I died a few times against a enemy that should have been a 100% win in tactical at the start of the game as well until I noticed that option. Now I just keep it at 0...
Okay this crazily quick reply while drinking my morning coffee before work just made my day. [e digicons]:D[/e]
I hate hexes.... No I really do and I don't know why, I actually might not be able to play Civ 5 due to it. Must be something wrong with my head but when I see a hex based game I just don't want to play it... I know they are better in pretty much every single way but for some reason they just piss me off! =(
Why does every patch reset the game options, it's getting a bit annoying =( Sure it takes me less than 5 minutes to fix and restart the game once to use the new options but this is going to build up to hours if it keeps up.
If you bought it from Impulse try their sales contact e-mail with your order number if it was from a retail store you'll have to contact them. Whining about refunds on forums isn't the way to go.
Updates I like, reason I'm actually sticking with you in this because the only companies I trust are the ones that commit to their products. Paradox, Bioware (Yes they do patch for years which some of you might not notice =P), Blizzard (Sure they have the worst community representatives but damn do they patch!) and due to galciv you are pretty much addable to this list. About your ranting professionally I think you fucked up, never ever say "Do not buy my product". Personally I thi
Playing around with 1.05 a bit before heading to work this morning and I started one game and I got killed with Janusk and some other hero quite early. Decided to start a new game straight away but I ticked off Janusk in the options, so now in my new game I suddenly get attacked by some nasty bandits who kill me BUT something really strange happened on the battle result after a auto resolve. I had Janusk and the other hero from the LAST GAME in my party in the battle result who were killed bu
Kiddie platformers always have a strong babyplay following there's no strategy to them. Just click n go and giggles. I could care less about Trine or any other kiddy platform game. Elemental is a real strategists game and doesn't need any multiplayer elements to make it strong. It will sell high on its single player experience alone just like Galactic Civilization 2 did. Really wished Brad hadn't included
Half-assed and less developed are not the same thing, none of which says tell everyone you can play with 32 players, 16 in reality, advertise you're going to have custom servers, not at release, convince people that LAN has anything to do with internet, after all when someone asks you for help with their local area network, the first thing you are going to say is make sure your modem is plugged in right, and your ISP isn't down because
Where do people get the idea that "LAN" automatically means no internet connection? LAN only means you have a bunch of networked computers. Having an internet connection or not doesn't change anything. Playing a game with a computer on the network hosting, and playing with every computer on the network connecting to an online server are both "LAN'. It's a term independent of gaming, making this whole debate silly.
Internet self-c
Too bad you scared froggie away =( I do agree on one thing frogboy said, but I probably disagree on everything else. First of all what I agree on is that your 15 friends shouldn't be running off with your copy of the game after a LAN and having a full game, that's just wrong and I totally regret my former gaming days where this was just common. I recently even bought a ton of legacy games that I probably can't run anymore just because I remembered having copied them over a
ZZZZZZ is all I can say, I own a 360, ps3 for exclusive games that are not on the pc, I tried some fps games on the original xbox and ps2 (Halo, quake and some others) and since that I have not bought a single console fps. Why? the controller, that's basically it. For a PC gamer that is used to mouse & keyboard the controller is a frustration to play with and I won't have anything to do with it considering I'll be tearing myself apart with the fact "OH GOD DAMMIT I COULD DO THIS IN 0.05 S
Hopefully they are smart enough to include multiple proxies throughout the world or it will not fix anything at all... imagine a european player connecting to a proxy in usa to only connect to someone living in a european country right next to his. That will pretty much make it unplayable and laggy. This kind of networking system just doesn't work on a global scale and it's almost impossible to fix for a end user compared to standard server/client architectures.
I can also pretty much confirm it's not working as of now, how hard can it be to change a database entry. And this should pretty much be high priority because you'll end up with multiple nicks in demigod unless you block all the old nicks people switch away from in Impulse.
Another bump since the change in servers today still shows me as my old nick
Had the same issues at the middle of some large areas, clicked attack on a enemy DG and the beast would spin in circles on the spot. The torchbearer also has some issues chasing enemies after you give him a attack move. And one thing I really hate in this game is how unbalanced the sides are even when it comes to AI, I tried the single player tournament and I won the first game quite easily. Then it started happening each game my teammates just died and died and after 10 minutes I had
Ye I kind of hope the live servers will have fresh profiles because I really don't want to use my current nick that's stuck in the database.
I'm going to bump this since I'd really like this fixed, saw several post of this during the beta and no good response. I was hoping I could get the login changed if they reset the DBs for release but it seems they didn't reset anything besides the stats.
Read the edit! EDIT: I am well aware of the change nick function in my account on starboard forums and the change login on Impulse however these do not change your ingame nick for Demigod. It seems as if the first nick you login to Demigod saves it to a database and you can't change it later by changing the Impulse nick. At the moment I'm a bit afraid that this will cause problems in the long run, user plays demigod with nick A changes to B, months later a new guy buy
Even as I comment here, there are multiple active threads I'm seeing on the Demigod forums proclaiming that we need to postpone Demigod for "months". Because it's buggy? No. Because it's incompatible or too slow? No. But because it needs more time for unspecified "balance" changes. Because, as you know, there is only ONE correct way to balance.
