He used a perfectly valid tactic. If you were wise you'd have learned from this and not posted this 'lame thread'

dictionary.com anyone?
Considering every player can get one how is it OP? it's not like it's an exclusive item. If all players have HoL then it's even... if they don't then someone doesn't knwo what they are doing and will lose anyhow.
Nice guide for noobs, most of this is common sense for anyone who knows what they are doing. The names are nice, but they are kind arbitrary and it might just confuse people.
Agreed....
The game could use random options for a lot of other things too such as random teams and random demis.
I just replied to about 3 posts and none of my replies came up? If I select My Replies I can see them but when I go to the actual post there is no reply. Eh?
Yeah man there are quite a few of us. Usually we are all in the same 2 or 3 games though so you might have to wait 15 mins for a game to finish. I usually host a game and have no one join for 10 mins then bam it's full in about 10 seconds as another game ends. Add me to friends and I'll have a game with you tonight at about 7PM +10 EST
until they get a proper clan ladder up this is gonna keep happening, there is no way a game liek demigod will ever work without this being the case. Just be happy that you played well. Did you try and help the 2 noobs? I don't mind losing if I've got noobs on my team as long as they listen to sound advice. I do however get pretty pissed when they keep running into 3v1 situations time and time again. oh well just have another game.
hmmm 2c from a consumer... don't release a broken product unless you want to work 7 days weeks for no extra pay. I love DG I really do, but I'd rather NOT be playing it now and have had it released a few months later in a working form, than have an otherwise brilliant game jaded by such a poor release.
*shivers at the memory of so many lost kills.
I've been looking at this game, gameplay mechanics, videos, etc. and it looks neat, but it seems to be getting more praise than I'd expect. The game as an RTS looks infinitely inferior to Warcraft III, and a for the RPG elements, well it just doesn't seem to be great by RPG standards, either. I realize it's supposed to be a combination, but even for a combination, it looks very limited. From what I can tell, there are only a few ways to upgrade your DG,
Lol a post-release beta test... shows the fact this game should have stayed in development for a few more months...
1 point to ooze is always helpful I find, if I'm just camping a lane I can always go and spit on a tower near by... Also it adds confusion and fear. Once you spit the enemy assumes a spit built and will spec for it, making your ooze even stronger, also when you spit people tend to panic (seen many a +15 lvl erebus hit mist to counter a level 1 spit *chuckle) makes them watse mana and leaves them open for a grasp then auto chase. Another great reason to get spit is to vomit on a HoL us

People taking passive boosts like Sedna's Healing Wind and then refunding after getting a few seconds of free health regen could be an issue.
Agreed
Maybe an upvote would give them 10 extra favour or something.
Also it lets you know if some poor bugger had a crash or if they left so you know whether to kick them from your games in the future.
I shudder at this memory. Almost every game I play I'll be fighign a DG on a flag and they will start losing and run off, if I wasn't near the flag they'd be dead. But no... my DG sits there with a walkign animation AT the flag while regulus takes off into the horizon giggling his arse off. fix plz? kthx.
It would help if the shamblers get mulched a bit faster. takes pretty long for them to finally die and bomb the surroundings. btw. an overlooked feature of mulch shambler is it's incredible range. you can send your shamblers to anywhere on the map and blow them up. Not sure how to exploit that feature, though. Damage is not that great and range of explosion is pretty small.
Use em to hit towers.</p
Queue the 'you're an idiot' unhelpful posts now. A few times on the weekend I tried a few different builds with DGs. One thing that happened to me a few times was in moments of utter haste I accidently clicked the wrong skill, not because I wasn't looking but I hit the wrong skill out of habit. For example, I wanted to try an Ooze build out but accidently hit Spit purely out of habit. It would be nice to have say a 3 or 5 second cool down to undo this... BUT at
quoting postAlso I'd like to see the 1 second cool down removed as well, it's kinda pointless and can be confusing if you have to flick ooze on and off quickly. Think mob runs in, you hit it and kill them all so you switch off but enemy dg comes in and you hit it on again, he hurts you so you wanna get outta there and switch it off. Thats 3 times you have to both be stopped and also have to time by 1 annoying second your Ooze. No, this hel
I always say 'Sorry man, you did your best' or somethign like that. And when someone leaves I offer to quit and rematch.
wow sounds like they are going to ruin it like what happens to every decent franchise.
heh heh look at those puppies fly.
