Yup, just tried it on the laptop. Works nicely, lots of missiles and things flying around. I might say, though that when a bunch of basic cylon frigates are focussing fire it looks slightly off- you might want to increase the cool-down between shots and increase damage to compensate. From the capital ships it makes sense, but with the frigates, I just don't think it quite works. Same with the autocannon, the colonial defender sometimes looks like it's firing shells the same size as it is!

Mechwarrior 2 was the first game I ever played, and I grew up watching my parents play it. Seeing as I have become a gaming nerd based on those first experiences, I am really exited for a new Mechwarrior game. I only hope it doesn't get too "dumbed down".

Still waiting for a 1.03 entrenchment compatable version! [e digicons][/e] but no pressure, I'd guess you and your team have enough work incorporating the SoA mod into yours. Glad to hear you're working with them-all. I can tell you I won't be updating anything while waiting for a version I can play. Weee! Good luck with your work, hope real life doesn't interfere with the development too much.

I hate to ask something that you've probably posted about already, but I can't help but notice that the DANMAN games website has a link for Sins of the Thirteenth Tribe 0.6. I don't see a new thread with details so... Does this new version work with entrenchment 1.03? And I love all the pictures you've been posting, looks fan-bleedingeyes-tastic. Like I thought ship-to-ship combat should look. missile broadsides, massive explosions.

I look forward to playing this mod myself, being a big fan of the BSG series, but I've already updated to 1.03 of Entrenchment. However, I have danmangames bookmarked so I'll be checking back when they get a new version number available for download. Always love new races with unique models and textures. Your work appears well above average, and may you see success with it in the future! So Say We All!

A good story! Reads like a section from a david weber sci-fi novel, would be easy to understand and interesting even without prior experience of the game. I wish my matches with the computer were nearly this epic- I always underproduce and watch my tiny fleets get eaten. My favorite part was during the opening shots of the 2nd United Trader fleet against the Vasari defenders. Now that I think about it, it almost makes me wish that instead of selecting a class of capita

"He could be you! he could be me! he could be BLAM" My favorite part was the medic duel. makes me wish stuff like that could happen in-game. Definately one of their darker videos, though.

[quote who="Zyxpsilon" reply="20" id="2207629"] Spock and Nero could have travelled to the future instead of the past. They could have done the exact same plotline, just with a different crew and ship in the future. Both came from the future and as a result, altered the timeline & reality for Kirk & co (to use your perception of the past). For an allllllmmmmmoooosssssttttt exact explanation, i'd have to recommend you (at a minimum) Voyager's episodes Year of Hell

I saw it, and being a major trekkie myself (own and have seen all seven seasons of Next Generation, and have four of the seven seasons of Voyager and the remaining three on order, also saw a lot of DS9 while it was on and quite a few of the original series when they reran on Scifi. Do not speak to me about the Enterprise series, though.) I loved it because it was AWESOME. The special effects were top notch, that's the kind of ommph you have to see in the theaters! done by Industrial Light and

Clearly, you found all the points that people lost due to bugs before the beta started. Which means you have my Swift Anklet. GIVE IT BACK! MINE! RAWR! [e digicons]:P[/e]

Awesome. First two look like forces of darkness, bottom two look like forces of light. I think... hmm... the first and third ones are Generals and the other two are Assasins. yes, and the first general gets Techno-zombies, second one gets magic golems.

Wow! Many of these tips look to be useful for any demigod, but I will most definately keep your Torch Build two in mind when I play him next- I have always made the mistake of taking both fire and ice skills, and dancing back and forth between forms. I imagine that might work for someone with a better idea of what they're doing, but for me, I think after seeing you in action and reading your guide I'll stick to one side or the other from now on. Edit: And I've bookmarked it fo

Hey, The way I understood it, the Favor points issue was a result of the server-hopscotch they had to pull on zero-day to avoid the pirates, and the most recent patch fixed it, plus added an additional onehundred points to everyone. However, while this worked yesterday- I had over 500 points by day's end, and unlocked and used the anklet of Speed in both games I played- Today, I found that my points had dropped to -10. I wouldn't post a new thread, but as I understand

This Thread- Forces of Light: Frogboy (Oak? I think he's like Oak. Or possibly Rook.) GunslingerBara (Senda? because she's a healer and Gunslinger's in tech support?) Forces of Darkness: Sarawati (Queen of Thorns) Sblade1 (Lord Eberus/Unclean Beast) FIGHT! Whoever wins, it will be AWESOME! I think we can credit Frogboy with Firstblood. I've played games across the spectrum of DRM, and have had the fewest headaches and best

I've found I'm really powerful with Oak, but less so with the assasins. (I still haven't tried sedna, I'm superstitious enough to think playing a hero of the opposite sex is incredibly unlucky.) I don't think the assasins are weaker, I think they just take more skill and practice to master.

I just got clear of a match with three Oaks vs. two Unclean Beasts and one Erebus- it was painful. Erebus got Godlike at level fourish (well, early on, anyway.) and never lost it for the rest of the game. He bit, teleported, and used that annoying stun like there was no tomorrow. I suppose I should have thought of mana drain/steal as a way of defeating him, but late game everyone has so much mana to begin with...

Thanks for the update! It's nice to know that you're aware of the issues and are working to fix them. Other otherwise stellar publishers often clam up in similar situations, making players wonder what's going on, and it is quite refreshing to have constant communication and support from stardock. I think Demigod is a great game, and I'm glad to see you intend to stick with it for the long haul. I think that will pay off nicely for you. This sort of thing makes stardock

I don't rage quit, even when the tide turns against me. For instance, today I, a solitary Oak, with two AI "assistants" took on a pair of player Lord Eubruos's and their pet AI Unclean Beast. In a Slaughter match. It was over, very, very fast. The only time I would quit a game is if I start only to discover that everyone on my team has dropped and the oppostion is still at full. (really, they need to do something about players dropping out while the game loads) Or, if I am the only on

I chose the light side of the pantheon, so I'll comment on their Demigods, starting from the best: Oak: Oak is one of the best, he can go toe to toe with the assasins and still summon units like a general, requiring only moderate mirco-management to perform well. Regulus: Though not as good as Oak at clearing out masses of small units, he's just as competent at taking down demigods. However, I haven't tried the mines for AOE yet, I've focused on range+sniping thus far. Require

No America won't always be a super power. It will be for some time, but once I perfect my zombie-clone army, the world will be united under the banner of ME. It will last until my mutant-zombie-clones overrun Las Vegas. After that, it'll all be downhill. I shall then proceed to put all the world's resources into space flight and exploitation thereof. I intend to be ruling from Mars by the tenth year of my domination. Also, I shall name game designers that have earned my favor a
