I had set it to 6gb physical and 9gb virtual memory, and that didn't work. I'll up the virtual memory to 32gb, just to see. Tom

Hmm... I tried increasing my virtual memory size to 9gb (the file is on an SSD, so it should be fast), with no change. Thanks for the suggestion, I will wait and see if an update helps. Tom
Normally I would expect the game to still run, even if slowly and at a horrible framerate. Is there some sort of check for 8gb that causes it to exit if it doesn't find that much? If so, I will have to get a refund, I guess. Too bad. Tom
