The Save button is invisible for some reason, move your cursor just under the section's last label, for exemple "Website" for customer informations, and it will change to the hand, revealing the button location.
(Note that I'm still playing 1.05, I don't know if this has changed with 1.1b) When the player moves the cursor above the Research button at the top of the screen, a popup appears in the lower right corner to show the researches' progress. With the Diplomacy button, the popup explains the purpose of the Diplomacy screen. How about changing this to show how much time is left to complete each missions that I received? Shield mitigation increases as a ship is attacked, and represents the shield adjusting itself to the enemy's weapon. If you check one of your ships as it is taking damage (red circle around it), you will notice that its shield mitigation increases. You probably just compared ships that didn't receive incoming fire with ships that got a lot. Advent ships receive a bonus to base and maximum shield mitigation when fighting in their own culture.
