Thanks for the heads up!
In light of Boshimi's post, I stand corrected. It sounds like closed friends-only games get played over the Virtual Private Lans. Sorry to hear that you and your friends had a bad experience; online multiplayer with the general public isn't for everyone. The only real acronyms you need to know are SB (starbase) and PJI (phase jump inhibitor).
Sanchezz, when Rebell
B5 mod is running into some issues. Mostly with the AI Research stalling out after a few items. Can anyone assist them? Here is the link the related thread and reply. https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/361694/page/105/#2992410 Thank you very much for any assistance in this matter.

I'm curious how they would set up victory conditions in the game based on the current architecture. It would have to be for points accumulated somehow I'm sure. Would King of the Hill or 'Moving' King of the Hill be based on amount of time controlling a planet or 'series' of planets in a region? Kind of like a dead asteroid surrounded by four connecting plasma storms that must be controlled for x amount of time?
Neato. Now how about early and immediate private alpha / beta access...
... [e digicons]:annoyed:[/e] What is the point of asking the same question that they keep answering all over the forums? You realize that they aren't even to the 'in-house' alpha level yet right? 'Immediate' ... not threatening language at all. [e digicons]:cylon:[/e]
Quoting -Ue_Carbon, reply 25Play DS with our broken Pirates. So they're not supposed to raid with eight Dunovs, five Desolators, five Halcyons, and a battleship?
That's not a raid! That's a scouting force for the main fleet! Wait till the pirates get a titan.
Have they announced the name of the other titan? I didn't think so, nevertheless, it looks more like an offensively oriented vessel with tons of strike craft (that massive hanger) with a possible heavy bombardment/ remote bombardment ability (if that forward opening is a miniature novalinth) On the other hand, the forward opening might be a frigate factory, effectively switching their roles so I don't know
I guess I'd better get my shotgun ready because we're far beyond the point you have mentioned.
Territories or 'Moving King of the Hill' would be awesome too. Not to mention 'Pirate Invasion!'
King of the Hill is what I'd be interested in. :-)

Just as conjecture, I envision them so far acting like the below two statements:
Probably more ability bound then anything else. (aka engine shutdown, weapon shutdown, etc.)

they will behave like fighters and bombers but on their own
Basically miniature anti-ability / anti-anti-matter frigates that act, fly, and navigate like a stand alone strike craf
Yeah, there won't be a 64-bit or multicore version of Rebellion. It's simply that 64-bit OS's rock and if you have Windows 7, you should be rocking with the 64-bit version.
Has the engine been further optimized for Rebellion to reduce resource usage at all? I'm curious if everything has been converted over to .dds textures, if said textures have been shrunk where applicable (as some are just HUGE
Huh ... there are Cobalts underneath it aren't there? I bet you there are some fighters in there that we just can't see yet ... probably those little red squiggly streaks. :-)
The only thing that comes to mind Ryat would be the sub-system mechanics of Homeworld 2 though I'm not sure how well that would work in Sins. :-\
Yes to more planet types ... Distant Stars mod has a lot of these combined together into one convenient place.
They've also stated that that render is from Maya

They've also stated many times that 64-bit isn't happening.
Both of these statements by Kitkun are correct. Maya and no 64-bit .exe
a variety of them, would be more of an improvement- an artifact victory, a 'king of the hill' style, maybe a space invader style etc.
While I disagree with DesConnor here on some of his points this above statement would be nice. I would like to see 'king of the hill' or 'wonder' style game play types as an option. That would be a lot of fun. Perhaps even the 'endless spawning wave
Ironclad is going to have to do something with regards to gravity wells and pathfinding to make Titans viable.
I'll have to look this up when I get home but I ' thought' this was answered from Yarlen as a 'gravity well sizes and pathfinder will not be changed' sort of answer. Keep in mind how big the Titan looks compared to the Starbase. It seems like it will be only a smidge
For the color blind, simply changing the colors.color file (See Carbon's post for the location) with the appropriate colors you want fixes it for you. It's absurdly simple to fix that and it doesn't affect your checksum so online play is unaffected if yours is different then someone else.
While I agree with Stant that this is simple and it's even better because it does not change the checksum, I do f
You guys are just way too cool! Can we please have this background as a download able wall paper? This needs to be displayed on my desk top in all it's glory! (formats up to 1600x1050 would be much appreciated!)
