Imperium, have you sucessfully ran the MSGM v.03 or not with TSOP? I'm very confused.

I've been thinking but, as an ME we always keep working saved copies of our work in progress so if the newest one gets toasted we can always revert back without losing very much work at all. I mean no dis-respect but, you don't have any saved versions from before you went and removed the invisible faces?
Ryat, depending on what the final changes are in the official post-beta patch when it is released, what would you guess is the amount of time to tweak, add, adjust, and otherwise re-work everything that the DS team wants in the mod, into the mod?
I would wait until after the beta turns into an official released 'non-beta' patch. That way we don't have to have three or four different versions of files floating around. Keep it simple. Keep it safe. [e digicons][/e]
Stores have supported expansions for the Original Dawn of War series well after the initial game's release. If this is a full expansion instead of the two micro expansions (Entrenchment & Diplomacy), then I would think, based on information in the last ten years, that it would be possible to get a boxed version. Besides, the combination of Entrenchment & Diplomacy was re-leased later as Trinity what, two years after Sins was released? I would highly like to see
As for the optimisation project, I wish the would include all the corrections (inkluding wasted texture space as myfist0 pointed out) and bugfixes (not the optimisations) into the patch.
Agreed!
I'll wait to Pre-Order until there is an available beta for those that do. Just like always. [e digicons]:D[/e]
Zeta, have you tried using the TSOP mod? That may help lower the ram needed for sins.
ManSh00ter ... have you been talking to the developers again? [e digicons]*_*[/e]
It's just more content that is around when this mod gets released. No problem there!
Are you using the beta files or the pre-beta version? I'm also asuming you are using TSOP with all the little addons for multiplayer installed as well? This will help in testing when I hopefully get an opportunity this weekend to figure out what's up. I have an idea of what the problem is but I won't know for sure until I get a chance to sit down for an hour or so and double-check everything so that there aren't any other issues.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [e digicons]XD[/e]
The MSGM I installed was the one stated it had been made to work with TSOP. That's an issue for the MSGM thread. If TSOP has problems with the new beta, that will be an issue for us. Can you use TSOP alone on the Beta?
Please post concerns on the MSGM forum. I have an idea on what might be wrong concerning the TSOP project but I will need some time to look into it, possibly later this week healt

[e digicons][/e] YES!
I will typically use Fleets now-a-days only for close in flak support of either a capital or other succeptable targets. I used to use fleets exclusively when I first started but ships on the outer periphery of the fleet range would often break off attack and try to reorganize themselves in the fleet and would be destroyed. I quit using them not long after I started playing.
If the models themselves were never released to the public community then they are still considered private property I'm sure. Besides, we're getting nice shiny new models!!! [e digicons]:andrew:[/e]

Believe it or not ... Mod DB is how my player group first found the DS mod. :-)
In the handful of games I have played, the pirates never send a ship that can bombard my planet ... one of those games lasted 8 hours. Any ideas? Some cases I just colonized an asteroid and when they showed up in the gravity well I just scuttled my extractors and they left ... it was that easy.
You would be surprised how much attention you might get if you updated the ModDB, even if it redirected to this thread.
So excited!!! [e digicons]^_^[/e]
Have you largely switched over to .dds files instead of a mix with .tga? My Multiple Stars Graphics Mod has two versions. Standard Sins and the TSOP Compliant version is entirely .dds.
Wow I am so glad that I found this. In two weeks I will be working with setting up militia in a test map ... you guys saved my butt!!! [e digicons]:D[/e]
In a recent game that was a semi-stalemate just for kicks I built upwards of 8 or 9 Kosturas to test this theory out!!! If you let them auto-fire you might get one or two that target the same planet but it seems that they usually target different planets unless the AI (or possibly human player) remains at one planet for a long time with their fleet / defenses.
