I am neither a prude nor a crusader or religious pugilist. I do not throw tantrums at every veiled sexual inuendo or expletive. With that said, I do find it inappropri

My daughter doesn't frequent Deviantart and I rarely do either. I do not believe they purport to be a "Family Site" (Is purport correct?) I'm not trying to start trouble. I just find it objectionable since this is a safe "Family Site" and my child is encouraged by my love of skinning as I am. I'd hate to have to tell her she can no longer visit here because she might see material which is inappropriate for her age. Nuff said
Good Greif I don't know if you have children or their genders or ages or what but if you can't respect my opinion that I don't want my 14 yr old daughter reading about that kind of thing then I believe you have a problem. And I think the parents of many of the 14 yr olds who frequent this site would agree. I think that post should be
Oh kona stop pretending you have a penis, strap-ons don't count girlfriend To conclude also....nothing in China's post was objectionable, insulting, or obscene. Excuse me but I find that objectio
6. Google's toolbar is spyware: With the advanced features enabled, Google's free toolbar for Explorer phones home with every page you surf, and yes, it reads your cookie too. Their privacy policy confesses this, but that's only because Alexa lost a class-action lawsuit when their toolbar did the same thing, and their privacy policy failed to explain this. Worse yet, Google's toolbar updates to new versions quietly, and without asking. This means that if you have the toolbar installed, Goo
I personally think the google toolbar sells your cookies to other companies who use google indirectly to give you those ads. I installed Google Toolbar & removed it within days because of all the pop-ups, unders, overs...blah,blah,blah and adware that suddenly started appearing on my machine and I religiously run ad-aware & Spy-bot and use norton auto protect & personal Firewall. I'm kinda sensitive to this stuff because I have to deal with it all the time at work when people call me and say the
Mine runs fine until I put on the weather docklet. It even runs fine with the weather docklet for an hour or so then it slows way down till I take it off.
You can access them with Outlook Express.
If you're willing to pay $20 There are a few choices. I've tried The Norton System Doctor, Reg Cleaner, System Mechanic and have settled in with Registry Healer. For my money it's the most flexible and best working registry tool. The registry is something that needs to be maintained on a regular basis especially if you are moving, deleting, adding files & programs regularly. As someone else said it accumulates ALOT of junk and the registry has to be processed everytime you boot,so keeping
This is the shizzle man! Thanks for the link. I've always loved the hubble stuff.

Anyone else trying the Winamp 5 Alpha yet? If you do a google search you'll find lots of download links. I haven't been able to get it to work with freeform skins yet.
telnet is an indispensible program for us system admins. As was said, if you have the ip address or more commonly the host name you can log into any of your servers anytime (unless they are really crashed) from anywhere with an internet connection.
Hashoncanoe OR Drew Uncontrollable Hugger Sorry to hear about your girlfriend!
giyorg, try a different dock bacground and a different dock theme altogether. Make sure you don't have a separator in there that may be essentially a .blank png or .ico ....It also may have to do with the bacground ini file stretching or tiling the background image incorrectly. in any case if you use a whole different background & theme I have a feeling you wont have the problem anymore.............Let us know what you find out. I'm real curious.
How 'bout a screenshot. You can upload it as your desktop.
I was going to stay out of this one but here goes my two cents... I believe we were created..of which there is no proof I also believe in evolution, but not the "Theory of Evolution"...of which there is also no proof..hence the name.. Everything changes over time to some extent, but the straight line evolution of Homo Sapien from apes to me seems too absurd to be believable. If evolution is genetic mutation over a period of time then I would expect the evolution of m
Very cool! I noticed if you accidentally delete the menu you make from the dock it's still available as a menu when you add a kkmenu docklet. Great!

I find the Weather Docklet slows my system, otherwise, it's ok. Same here. I have a pretty good system, P4-1.6GHZ 512 MB DDR RAM, not too many services running but the weather docklet really slows my system
