I have finally gotten around to e-mailing Stardock Support and they informed me that my accounts are now merged so I will get back on tonight and play! [e digicons]:andrew:[/e]
I am still having this problem, can someone PLEASE sort this out so I can actually play the game again?[e digicons]:([/e]
Ok, but how do I even get an older version of Flash at this point and why can't Stardock just fix this system so it works with the latest version?
Is this ever going to be fixed? I would like to upload an avatar for my account but on every computer I use with Impule I get the same image upload error about Flash not being right but I have the very latest version. Does someone have some detailed instructions on how to overcome this issue? Sorry for spamming a subject that has been discussed. Thanks
Ok, sorry for posting another thread on a problem that was already being spammed about. I could have sworn I checked the threads and there wasn't anything posted that I saw as the same issue but we all make mistakes right? Well, glad to hear it is being looked into, I suffer from the two separate e-mail address issue and that would explain the problem I am having. Thanks
I just updated to the new beta of Demigod and so I do like I have done before and go to a multiplayer Internet game situation and for some reason I can't even get logged into Impulse through Demigod even though I can login fine using the exact same username and password in the Impulse client program. It used to work in my previous version of Demigod, anyone else noticing this issue?
I see your point, I suppose I am still stuck in the world of Supreme Commander and being able to direct EVERYTHING on the battlefield. [e digicons][/e]
I like the building idea, it could be a "Spy" flag or something like that that allows you to purchase information about your opponent.
Ohh, I had an idea! I like the concept of being able to place grunt markers to guide the grunts to specific targets, if you don't place a marker the grunts just do their normal arbitrary attack thing but the key is that you have to earn the marker, it isn't given right away and if your on a team of people then the marker can be earned by each team member for doing something like killing a Demigod or reaching a certain experience marker. Also, it could be something that is ear
I suppose I just don't understand the role of the creep, are they nothing more than fodder for Demigod experience points?
Good point, when your playing multiples that would cause an issue unless each player had their own grunts but then that changes the whole dynamic. I played last night for a bit and this time I felt more comfortable with the chaos, maybe it is just a matter of needing to become more familiar with the gameplay.
I keep playing fully loaded games each night and have noticed that in those situations the arbitrary grunt battles are becoming a chaotic mess and it is nearly impossible to ficure out what I am attacking in the pile of grunt battle, it kind of sucks to be honest. Might be nice if we could control the grunts after they spawn at the portals, just selecting one grunt could give access to the entire pack and then you could guide them to wherever you want them adding another strategic eleme
Yeah, i feel stupid now [e digicons];P[/e]
Was in a situation last night where I was playing Rook against another Rook and when we got ontop of each other it was total chaos and they actually started spinnin g around, it was styrange to see. In any case, was thinking it might be nice to have a function where instead of the Demigods layering ontop of each other there would actually be a push initiated from the attacker so the two can't occupy the same space at the same time, the attacker would actually push the other Demigod back
I tend to get into situations, especially when playing a fully loaded match, where my Demigod is standing directly in front of a structure or target and I have a hard time placing a reticle over the target because I can't see past my character. Maybe a change in the camera views so you could not only zoom and move about but also anchor a spot and drag the screen in a circular motion to see a different perspective kind of like Sins. Thanks
Yeah, did AI only and it was fine so it was probably just network lag, thanks for the replies!
So I have been reading the posts about the generals and how the game is supposed to be very different than the assasin game but if that is the case and generals end up having a totally different feel in the game, wouldn't there be a need to have a general and assasin on each team in every game for balance? Just a thought. Maybe you would select a general and an assasin at game start and cycle between both of them and if your playing team matches then only one person can be
That is a very good idea, when he reaches a certain percentage in health he can initiate the "Last Stand" which is more like a buff fit of rage to increase damage for a small period of time. Me likey! Of course he is a general after all and if they are going to change the generals setup as is being discussed in other forums, it might be a moot point.
Not sure if this is already on the radar or if it is just a crazy thought but what about having to start on the map with no base setup and your Demigod has a set number of light towers and portals and gold mines to setup along with the Citadel and shop before the start of the match. This approach adds another element to the game where you have to consider placement of your structures around the flags on your side instead of just starting a match with pre-placed structure. Just a t
I say limit the duplicity of the Demigods for teams, if I am in ateam of five and I choose Regulus then no one else in my team can choose him, it seems to make sense like this.
Ughh, see, don't know left from right, it is the LEFT side. [e digicons][/e]
Yes, the right side, apparently I don't know my left from right today! :) I am running at the maximum resolution.
The "Last Stand" ability for use with Oak is very powerful, I think maybe too powerful infact because he has a good bit of time after being killed to ghost and destroy stuff without taking any damage. I used this last night several times to destroy the opponents light towers and other structures and it seems that people may become frustrated with their opponent being able to continue destruction for a bit without taking any damage. Maybe this ability could be modified so you get t
When I go to choose my Demigod for the game the game slots show up on the right side overtop of the Assasins and I can't see to select the Assasin I want to use. This may already be known but I am just reiterating it here. Thanks
