^^ I totally agree...the $99 is a good price for myself considering I would buy all the content on release anyway (by the way it seems currently 4 expansions are planned with 6 minor DLC's the first year and 4 per year subsequently as long as there is interest according to info posted on the steam forums) . I stand by the fact it probably wasn't the best idea to release an early access version on steam until the beta, you get a vocal minority of

100+ civs (along with the galaxy size needed to support that) being even theoretically possible sounds rather incredible. Some of that has to be down to going all in with the 64-bit support I would think.
Any idea how often the alpha will be updated for the player community? Are we talking monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly... or is this it until the beta
I would also be interested to hear
^^ Nice find :) *gets out microscope* haha.
Looks very...spiky. I like it. Also " The Yor are a racer of aggressive sociopathic machines." I assume that is a mistake and there is not going to be a future F1 minigame? ;)
To be honest...I do not like the idea of a 'manufactured' Diplomacy Currency as has been mentioned by some people here i.e. a universal resource generated through buildings or other means. I think that feels a bit too 'gamey' for my liking but I can understand it working, EU IV used similar sorts of mechanics with monarch points. I really li

But as a Core part of the Main Game Flow ? ..... Not happening. Brad has stated firmly on zillions of occasions that GalCiv is not Tactically based, and never will be...... its a Strategic game, and he will keep it that way. Expect smoke and mirrors on this to enhance tactical il

Go to the Interface tab in the Options menu, and disable "Remove Functional Components when Upgrading a Ship Design". .... really that simple wow I feel stupid
Don't worry, I have played for years and this is the first time I have known of that setting [e digicons]:|[/e] As for the topic...
I am downloading my copy now, I just restarted impilse, uninstalled beta as it asked and now d/l V1.00 :)

If I get enough cash in the next few months I'm getting a 4850
I have a 4850, love it, don't really play crysis so can't say how it runs that but it has eaten up everthing else, it's the best price to performance card you can get IMO
Ok, preordered and downloaded the beta, have played for a little while and it seems really good a bit buggy in places (however i expected this from a beta) and a bit confusing at first but I think i am getting the hang of it, looks beautiful as well imo. Very nice!:)
Again thanks, very lucky i finally decided to have a look at this today, have been meaning to preorder for a while....
Ends today, wow, better get my preoder in :), phew Thanks a lot guys
Very sorry if this has been mentioned /is obvious however I was just wondering if I perorder today will I have access to the beta or has that time now passed? Thanks
