Rather disappointed about this only being available on the Epic Game Store. Does this mean the game is an EGS exclusive going forward? Despite my enthusiasm for Gal Civ…if that’s the case I will steer clear for now.

Getting some Crusader Kings vibes. This might just be me but for world-building and scale I think it would still be nice to see how many billions of people are on the planets - even if it is buried in a tooltip somewhere - despite having a more abstracted population figure/growth mechanic (which I am a fan of). What I find interesting is the comments about characters not being AI governors or otherwise making decisions. Thinking back to something like Crusader Kings the
Always in for new Gal Civ. Is it going to be available on Steam?

No luck with that link...too late?
I feel at the current resource level you have to expand out pretty quickly. You can only maintain a smaller force on the resources you initially start with, and is a good thing. This forces people to play in a somewhat aggressive manner since they can't turtle up in one spot the entire game. I also like that Reactive materials are not located in the seed region. This makes it impossible for people to turtle in their stating region and s
I personally like middle mouse button to drag the map, I feel that while you can get used to using right mouse you end up with times where you accidentally issue attack commands when you are just trying to move. I think WASD movement can work great in some games (I love the implementation in total war) however with the macro focus here I really think these keys need to be reserved for Hotkeys.
Could anyone confirm if Mantle should or should not be working on my AMD 280x? As I mentioned in my initial post I vaguely remember reading a post on these forums that that it would only work for certain cards to begin with but I can't seem to find where I saw that now.

That part of it totally reminds me of a Company of Heroes / SoaSE hybrid.
It screws with my head how it uses right cli
I thought we could have a thread to post some first impressions. I have only played for just about an hour so far. Fist problem I had was that the mantle version doesn't work for myself and gives an unsupported hardware error, it may be because I an using a 280x which as far as I know is based upon older hardware (7970). <span style="font-s
My key JUST appeared.
Awesome, I am downloading the founders edition now. Looking forward to having a mess around with it. Will keep all of this in mind.
Any idea when the keys are going to be released?
Thanks, this is all really interesting info. Where would you put this in terms of development so far? I am getting the impression that this is at more of a Gal Civ 3 stage (when that was initially released to founders) or perhaps even earlier rather than something like Sorcerer King which felt much further along.
Sorry for asking again but I kind of want to know. Am I still going to be able to purchase the $99 Founders edition when this releases or will that offer expire?
Is the lifetime edition due to end soon with the release of this build?
Very exciting. Even the v1.01 patch notes I have just read are looking really good. Looking forward to seeing what the more 'substantial' ones will include.
I suppose it is fine as long as it differentiates between 'purchased' rushes and trait/reward rushes. The latter shouldn't really give back credits.
" Canceling a rush will now refund the player the cost of rushing the item and re-enable the Buy button." It's...beautiful [e digicons][/e] Looking back at my post history I have wanted this in since March 2014
Another reason we need your help is that often times, people use the reviews to punish the game for things that have nothing to do with the game itself or other (imo) unreasonable objectives such as: Negative review because they're having trouble with it on the Windows 10 beta (we don't support Windows 10) negative review becauuse it should be

Feel free to delete my thread if you want to consolidate this Island Dog. As I said in the other thread I think it is a pretty fair review overall, I agree with the general theme that the game currently has a lot of future potential but what is there is solid.
I think this should be toned down/the stacking nerfed, I am all for player choice but this seems too strong and unbalances the early fun of exploration.
