Looks great...can't wait to see the clock running

There's a brand new game: Commander: Europe at war by Slitherine WWW Link
I've got a computer with 1,7 GHZ and it must run on that...otherwise
It wasn't really meant in a negative way. After all, these new features are the reason why i am finally considering buying CIV IV. Still, we had 2 kings (CIV and GalCiv) for 2 specific genres in the TBS world (history / science-fiction), if we don't count AC which was land-based. And now, we've got the most powerful king who's trying with a new genre (space conquest). Will they stop there? What are the risks for GalCiv 3?
The new add-on for CIV IV does include a space map and conquest of stars...did they copy GalCIV 2? How will this affect GalCiv2 sales? What do you think?
Ironclads interviews are all the same.Copy and paste job. It's because we read them all...those interviews are for people who haven't heard of Sins yet...Still, sometimes there's a couple of new things...
I recommend Spartan by Slitherine...good TBS set in the Antics
We don't need Moo4, we have GalCiv2. Now MoM thats another story. Nothing has come close in the million or so years since it was released. I have to disagree...the whole travel system is different in GC and MOO. It implies completly different strategies and so both games are very different from one another. I want MOO4 too.
Nice...
Exactly. Forget MoO. Thirded. GalCiv2's a better game in every way than any iteration of MoO ever was, sorry people. It'd be a tragic misallocation of resources for SD to pursue a MoO revival when simply advancing GalCiv would invariably produce a better game. I am with Brad here...both games are very different and you can't compare them like that (Why would he like to work on it if they were so similar?
Master of Orion III, GalCiv, Civ3 and Spartan for TBS Glory of the roman empire, Celtic Kings and Knights of Honor for RTS
Sins is exactly what i've been waiting for...it's close to be my dream game. I am MOO player and Sins is the next step in the genre...if they could create MOO4 on Sins that would be awesome (large number of races, Galactic Senate...)
Seems like a lot of people are new to the genre... I like Imperium Galactica 2 and will play it until SoasE comes out... The problem with Imperium Galactica 1 is that it was story driven and therefore, replayability was low (played the campaign twice) Haegemonia is actually imperium Galactica 3 under another name (same company)
It's a great looking game...lots of fun.
How come you are allowed to talk about the beta? Isn't that forbidden?
Sins Celtic Kings 2 Arcane Legions AGEOD's American Civil War
Great update! Keep posting your AARs, Brad...they're always great fun to read! Cheers PS: i'd like to see more about diplomacy next time...
I believe it really depends on the genre...if more games like the Sims, Singles, Glory of the roman Empire etc were released (games with human interaction, society simulation) more girls would play...the market has been too much oriented on warfare and boys/men generally most girls have an extreme aversion to blood and violence
Not sure if i prefer the new design...careful if they changed something at my uniform! I kinda liked the old ships and races...now it's indeed more realistic
Sins will be XP and Vista compatible . However, performance on Vista really boils down to video card drivers, which are currently not good. THANK YOU!
My question would be more...will it be XP compatible...because i won't buy Vista for a long time (not until i buy a new computer in around 5-8 years) Still got a LOT of older games i have to play first before i change to Vista... Until then, i say Hasta la Vista, baby!
And Europe?
Many games come on dvd now...plenty of space
Don't worry...i am an old guy too...wouldn't be interested if it were a click fest
The game won't be a click-fest...Blair said it very often
