While some do create their own ships in MOO3 and Space Empire IV or V, i always automate the process...So i don't mind if it's possible but i want to it to be automatic as well. In this type of game i want to focus on the big things: - Diplomacy - Espionage - Which fleet where - Where i will attack next - What type of fleets - What should be built on that planet - What to research - Being able to control a battle as an admiral (if i want to select what to aim

I beta-tested Legion Arena by Slitherine... Will beta-test Commander-Europe at War (again Slitherine) in the coming weeks
I usually have problems when i want to edit a post and get the info " you're not logged in" when i actually am... I have to say this again. I love GC, i am looking forward to Sins like for no other game but these forums are the crappiest i've seen in years...
Great picture...it's getting better every time...wonder how you do this...it was already gorgeous a year ago
Exellent Interview, Blair...
All the ol'timers have probably seen it, but there are lots of newcomers who don't know anything about it and I'm sure it will bring in some new faces Be sure to welcome to them...nicely! hehe (and be thankful for more multiplayer fodder - but ssssh, I didn't say that! ) Not only have i seen...it is still in my computer <img src="http://image
SchematicsninjaNovember 28, 2006 17:35:14Reply #68Knights of Honor ? Pax Imperia? Lords of the realm 3? just looking at them reveals that they aren't RT4X, related maybe, but not the same. and use the goddamn quote feature! I did...but then i had to edit and this stupid forum isn't very handy... So...if they
"Schematicsninja we haven't gotten the chance to try out a RT4X yet... come back later, like... in a year. " Knights of Honor ? Pax Imperia? Lords of the realm 3? Generally i prefet TBS as i am a slow player but Knights of honor for instance gives you enought time to make decisions. With such a good example, i am convinced that Sins will be fine for me. <b
This is looking great indeed...keep up the good work! Anguille
This is great...happy to be back! My Nikname is differrent but i've kept the same avatar!!! guess who i am
I will sue Stardock because Master of Orion 3 got bad reviews!!!
by the way...said review seems to have been hacked as i cannot have access to it...
That's amazing....must...have...it
Kerberos (see the spelling ) are slightly paranoid. If you've been on their forums at the beginning you'd know what i mean. What's worse, i couldn't mention Sins of a solar empire on their forums...that subject was forbidden! (both teams used to work together before). Now that Stardock is publishing SoaE, They'll even see more conspiracies... Now...maybe i'll be banned from their forums but i don
Hmmm, i wonder if the project was getting off track and stardock was called in to get things back on schedule? No...they just hadn't a publisher yet...and that's were Stardock comes into the game it seems
I've been on their forums since last december and the game seems to be already very solid. There's a trailer somewhere. It shouldn't be long until we can play this jewel... PS: Great Job Stardock for taking them under your wings...i am sure you've got a winner there.
Please tell me you were being sarcastic, and that I just wasn't able to detect that.... Hi Martok Of course it's birth of the federation which is the best game of all time... Now, i seriously enjoy MOO3 a lot but it's clearly on
And SOTS is no MOO3 by a long shot - there is a game in SOTS - there isn't much of one in MOO3. MOO3 is the best game of all time (along with GC and SE IV) ...if you have an IQ of 120 at least, that is... <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/sm
Good review....hopefully, GalCiv will be chosen as best strategy game of the year
I am completly with you on that one Frogboy....i have no interest in MP and want a good AI. MP's games have a very short life-span. Keep it up
I still play BotF on a regular basis and do hope to see a ST Mod made....Battlestar Galactica would be nice but we don't have spacecraft carriers in GalCiv II, or do we? Babylon 5 would be great too....
I just don't get why i can play: Nexus, Lord of the rings: battle for Middleearth, Star Wars: Empire at War, Imperial Glory (all RTS with high requirements) but CIV IV which is supposed to be there for every average people do not run on my computer!!! This is a serious marketing failure imho. Will buy the Gold Version of CIV IV once it comes out while GalCiv II will be bougth ASAP! That explains all
I agree with what you say. I enjoy GalCiv a lot and play it on a regular basis but i barely use the diplomacy there while i use i constantly when i play any MOO. I hope i will find it more useful in GalCiv 2.
I wish GalCiv 2 to be a huge success...this will give TBS games a new life! Well done Brad...
Well i don't agree as it higly depends on the distribution/publicity of the game. MOO3 sold a lot copies as it was very well advertised....GalCiv managed to sell many as well but it was also thanks to various aspects (advertisement in the MOO3 box, good reviews, hearsay) and the game was finally not badly distributed in the world...but it took much longer. It would have sold a lot more if it had received the support MOO3 had. SEIV on the other hand was only sold on internet, thus limiting it t
