I don't think it's the fact that people are scared to comment they just don't care. All they want to do is download all they can for free. It's the good skinners that could help out the most but I have found that most of them are too busy cranking out skins to help out. Oh sure they find the time to pat each other on the back. And you will almost always see the same names on the comments of the popular skinners but hardly ever do you see them make comments on a new ski
It all looks and sounds great. The SKS looks like it's set up for both XP and Vista. Good idea. I just hope they have the updating right. Instead of downloading the whole package, every single time with skins and all, you just download the update. I don't see it happening but we'll see. I agree that it's a bad idea about downloading core components. What if you don't use one or more of them. You'll have to wait the extra time for it to download, so you can uninstall them. H
Yes, when posting rips in the forums, it's like telling everyone to come download it before it's taken down. Should always email an Admin., hence the confusion.
Found out the answer to my own question. Windowblinds doesn't install on "server 2". I switched to "server 1", installed...no problem. This is something I'll have to remember for future refference. Oh, and if you're just now reading this....took you long enough.
I installed Windows Vista Premium today and tried to download WB5 but it keeps downloading. Example: Iconpackager = installed. Icon Developer = installed. Skin Studio = installed. Windowblinds 5 = download, download, won't install, download, download, won't install, download, download, won't install, download, download, won't install, etc..... Need help... Also, Windowblinds 4 downloads and installs with no problems. WB5 doesn't.

Thanks for your help. I switched servers and got a whopping 20 kb more, so it helped some.
I was on dial-up for years and every time I downloaded an update, through Stardock Central, I could only download at 3 kb a second at the most. Now that I have satillite, I'm 100 times faster now, but the most I have been able to download, through Stardock Central, is 20 kb a second. The reason I ask is, today I will be picking up my new computer and don't want to spend half the day in downloads. Is there another link (or place) I can get the downloads without taking forever thr
I had an old skin, that I updated, that I tried to upload today. I tried twice (2) to do it with no success. My computer seized up and my satellite TCP Acceleration dropped to 0%, again. Had to do a "Hard" reboot to both of them. Windowblinds was 500 kb and the screenshot was 597 kb. Both small files. First time stopped at 50%. Second time at 24%. Also, there is no option on updates. You have to use that page (upload2) or nothing. Yes, I know, I can use the old

What happened to the updating of a skin, that doesn't go through moderation. All I did was change a letter from i to e, and remove two links from the description. Nothing else. It went back into moderation. On the old site you could go back and add links, to other skins, to the description with out moderation. But hey, the week I've been having, ofcourse it would do it and a Master skin to boot. Not sure why that happened. We're looking

As of today, I have yet to see anywhere that you uploaded with the new page. I uploaded the StingRay skin on the 1st and 3rd . My first comment was made on the 3rd . I'll see how it goes, when I have something else to upload. I understand that you updated it on the 4th ....so we'll see.
