When I got my still-sweet Dell XPS 710 a couple years ago, I was disappointed to discover that the original BootSkin app didn't fly on Nvidia motherboards. Is this still the case with the new BootSkin Pro? I'd test it myself, but I've yet to upgrade to Vista. Thanks!
The old BootSkin app wouldn't work with Nvidia mobos. Same for this version?
*sigh* 'Pears I'm subject to this nForce mobo problem noted above. Dammit. Don't suppose there's any chance of Bootskin being rewritten to avoid this problem? Perhaps for a Vista release? Failing that, is there any other product of this nature? I'm tweaking so much else in the UI, I'd really hate to be saddled with that boring boot screen if I don't have to be!

I think that one reason those IE hypno-rays work on you is that most sites are either designed work optimally with IE or simply designed with Microsoft tools, which of course default to producing IE-optimized sites. Take this here one for example. Dunno how they code it, but the pages often come up too wide for even a fully maxed-out Mozilla window, especially when composing an article or posting replies. You did, and thanks. I think I've worked out an effective, if piecemeal approach. I create in Word, but save as text only, then I open up the text file in Notepad and the Mozilla Composer. Then I cut the entire text, paste into Composer and tweak it from there. Oddly, I can't just open a text file through Composer without losing all the easy HTML tools. At least through Mozilla, the editing window here just isn't large enough for me to comfortably
I work in a comic shop, so I have the ability to read but not buy. All of the capsule reviews are books I read at lunch. You have a point, though. It may be more helpful to just dismiss that which I don't buy, and I do buy a few books every week, the ones I'd prefer to read in a more relaxed environment, i.e. home.
