I would like to also point out that my post (Jul 08) was when 1.05 was being played and fighters were hardly built. So the conversation about fighters now vs then is quite different...
The only clan match I've been was against SA. Most of the time DT members are force to play against each other to make the teams "fair". People need to allow DTs to play as a team so we can practice as a team.
Comp stomp :)
Download Impulse Register yout game (using your game serial number/cd-key) Patch the game (optional) Buy Entrenchment - used alot on MP Open up Sins and select the Ironclad online option (you need to have ports open on your router and forwarded - 6000(or 6001 etc....), 6112 to host without alloy and 7000 for ICO if I recall - check your user.setting file) Create an account (again using cd-key if I recall (been ages)). I think you need to be IN one of the clans to play....
I want to see the replay of this!!!! It's gonna be AWESOME Especially since DT have lost Cykur and a few others seem to be on a little less (at least when I am on....) How are the rosters being done?
First computer games were on an Acorn Electron (mid 80's - there were also electronic games such as Pocket Simon (small version of Simon Says etc...). About '91 I got an Amiga 500. Memorable titles include Keef the Thief (if you opened up the art files from the disk, the bar maid was topless. You just didn't see this in the game as the bar was overlayed on the top). Meglomania Lemmings Civilisation Populous (never quite got the hang of it.
What are the rules regarding game setup? Fast/Normal/Slow speed? Random/Pre-defined maps? entrenchment/vanilla? Pre-seelcted race or random? Pirates on/off? quick start on/off for entrenchment space ponies allowed? etc...
I knew that was out there - just didn't know where to go and find it and didn't want to spend ages looking :D
Thanks, I got it working. Unfortunately, when I got on there, no games were available....
Where are you and when are you logging in. Being in Australia I can often log in when I get home from work and see no games available and an empty lobby - there are some games going, but you would be waiting to catch them finishing to get a new one. However if I log in on a Saturday/Sunday morning (US Fri/Sat night) the
I would suggest you contact support via email for this one. You could also try installing via Impulse - just register the serial number and you can download the game, fully patched to the latest version.
Firewall/port issue would be my guess - the data packets can't get to ICO server and back so it counts as a disconnect
What version are you on? Vanilla or Entrenchment? The most radical suggestion would be to remove and completely re-install
There are a number of players out there who probably play better as part of a team then 1v1. This means that they might lose to player A, but would win if they were on a team against player A as they are a better team player then player A is....
The form does not include entrenchment? So I take it, there is not other way to buy entrenchment other than Impulse? And now other way planned?
Correct Not at present. There is talk about a combined pack in the shops once all 3 expansions are released, but that is speculation at this point in time...

I try and make sure that they lose their cap too!!! You know, eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth, cap for a cap....
No official tournaments. There have been some highly skilled PUG matches, or DT vs others (including other DT, [_] etc...) matches. I think JJ is generally considered the best going around at the moment. One of the factors that needs to be considered is not just how good are they in a 1v1 or at micro but also in a team scenario. You would also need to consider if a played can pick their fav race, or would have to go random etc...

This means if your internet is down, you don't have issues with activation authentication. Only being unable to patch (and play MP games). I know steam has an offl
Have noticed it. Just don't worry about it too much as 1) If you have a Lvl10 ship it is normally late game 2) You can afford to buy the exp to make the cap Lvl4 anyway
