It depends on the time of day you play. Prime time US has enough people to get a game going with only a short wait. If I log on after work, there are often not enough players online (I'm in Australia - Europe and US are asleep unless it is a saturday/sunday night here - people are playing into the early hours there...)

Not totally unreasonable - they know they have fixed some issues, so they only want to look at yours if it still occurs. They don't have the resources to look into every issue, as opposed to you resending them a MD file with 1.02 if it still happens....
I agree that carrier caps should carry more squads, possibly 10-15 rather than the two that they do now. It seems pointless to spend the money on a capitol ship that carries the same number of squads as a light carrier. The abilities are nice in the early game, but aren't really worth it in the late game, at least for the TEC carrier cap.
No no no. This has been discussed sooooo many times before. This is a game breaker. I outfit my carrier cap with 2/3 bombers
They announce the patches on these forums - e.g. https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/?aid=343535 You can also open up Impulse and see if their is one. Finally, if you try and connect to ICO and get told you are on the wrong version, you can bet that there is a patch out that you don't have!!!
I don't think it is 3v1v1v1v1v1 unless the players are so new to Sins they don't know the mechanics or don't know how to chat to each other. I have seen games where the players work together, but it requires someone taking the initiative to say something, or ask for something. Of course, you do get total noobs who just try and build a fleet, throw it at the "skilled pro" (uh-oh - gonna get busted for that one!!!), lose it and promptly quit. To summarise - if it is their M
The best idea is to build them at planets with at least 3 phase lanes to locations you have extractors. That way you get a better return on investment. Of course you could put them on every planet, but if you are short of slots, it is best to selectively place them.
Hello McFly (Couldn't resist). The Monk mentioned something about this - iirc he said it would work anyway. However since you have set up the ports, that is a better option anyway imo.
Why would you need to do that?
First of all, I had no clue that was Siddy at the time. Second, he tried didn't get an economy up, and his opponent got saved by the guy who killed off our first teammate. Third, you guys had three good players in that game if memory serves while we had two beginners who collapsed almost immediately. As you pointed out, even Siddy and I are not going to make up the difference when two members of our team fold almost immediately. It is very hard for a great player to make up the differe
The biggest issue with them is the nerf they got that meant you need a lot more AM. It used to be possible to have them stop a whole fleet. Now with the carriers, they may stop some ships for a short time, but the fighters kill them and they cannot lock a section of the map down like they used to for an extended period....
i would like to see a ship class higher than battleship maybe a dreadnought the troopship idea is good aswell but troopships are normally low in protection and low or none offence abilities
There is already a ship designated as a dreadnaught in Sins...
If they want to add the title 4x along with the RTS moniker, then they better understand all the baggage that comes with that. One of theses bags is definitely more races. 4x games in the past: GalCivII: 10 races and 8 minor races. SEV: 15 races and minor races as well. SOTS: 6 races. So ideally, I'd like to see minor races as well. The Rogues and the Pirates help with that, but they could easily take it further
Why must they do it just because someone else did it? The
depends the so called pro players spam so what are they actaully pro's at playing like noobs building one type of ship over and over again not actaully exploring other ways to win due to they small minded ways i play with friends that like massive mixed fleets not shrimpy LRM/Carrier spams
That is crap and you know it. The pros will "spam" a ship type if they know they can get you quickly with it (e.g. LRM). But you might not have noticed that they ar
If we all play together as a team pretty much no one will play us....actually, if 2 of us are on the same team, it is hard to get a game. Actually....whenever I'm on a team, people on the other team often complain about the teams being stacked even if I have beginners with me and there are a few experienced people on the other team. It is a huge bummer.
I know what you mean. I was a little worried about that game the other night. If I had known that one of the other guy
Do ALL of the updates??? You need to be on version 1.15 for vanilla and to install Entrenchment
I've noticed the DT guys haven't been using their clan profile as much lately.... How humerous- the death of DT by a thousand cuts... No one could beat them playing against them, but they cannot survive if no one will play them...
You can take archives. They are OS specific however. You can also do a download archive option which is not OS specific I believe...
So you won't be buying it... You're loss. Especially since you could download it and archive your install..... [e digicons]8C[/e]
Waaah... Waaahhhh. Seriously - it is 2 clicks per ship. One if you want all fighters or all bombers and hold shift down. And you can do all ships in the grav well in one hit if you click on the fleet ring around the grav well. It is NOT that hard!!!
This means you won't be able to play MP though...
Typically 6-12 units defend these planets types, and up to four of any kind may appear.
Not strictly true - I have seen planets with more then 4 of a given unit - normally LF, but sometimes somethign else like LRM... But that is the rate cases
Direct from Craig. Idlebot IS ICO in human form. They are one in the same. https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/342514/get;2100795 I asked about this ages ago and was told it wasn't anything to do with IC or ICO... They were keeping their cards close I think!!!!
Well...he Novolithed me first....and you are a starbase monkey, so I was trying to get the game over with
As proven with our match last night!!!! :) I should have guessed from the name that it was Siddy smurfing too.... :D
There was an issue upgrading from vanilla sins to Ent a while back. A complete uninstall and then reinstall fully from Impulse fixed it. Not sure if this is what the issue is here...
I would have surrendered if you had asked me to - but since everyone seemed to have so much fun pummeling me, I thought I would be nice and let you have some fun.... And as I recall, you did my ally first with the novo, and THEN did me!!!!
