Oh yes. I remember those now... The eyes are freaky!!! Makes her look like an action figure standing in front of the game box.. Hey - there is an idea to make more money - limited edition Josie advent doll (make same size as Star Wars figures). It could come with a PAX exhabition kit - so people can recreate their own PAX pictures.... :)
Can anyone explain to me how you get capital ships with RA - all I get is frigates and cruisers.....
Which is the idea of RA!!!
its a bit offtopic but, I sometimes wonder if it was more efficient to have a video where the developers of the game explain how hard they worked on it and that they do it for a living which shows up on pirated versions before the actual video which you get after beating the game instead of the usual "game will not run (without a crack)" scheme for illegit copies. Downloading a crack doesn't make people feel bad about pirating, there is no emotions tied to downloading a crac
Hasn't Google's motto changed to "Don't get caught being evil???" :)
I want to see the pictures that they mentioned of Josie "After being met at the door by Josie, who some of you may recall from her incredible Sins outfit at PAX" What outfit????
The game host can set a number of speed settings in the game options screen (press the button at the bottom of the host screen). There are also options for locking teams and turning pirates off etc... Others can view these settings, but not edit them. Hope this helps..
No, since RA won't be all powerful in 1.1. Though the other races willhave their starbase too!!!
Make the DLL strongly named and load it in the GAC
I think they are great as is. They all do something unique if you know how to use them..
I'm not a full gun on security. Nor am I a lawyer, so no idea how this works against the GBR. But would it be possible to have Impulse authenticate the user to the game. i.e. logon to Impulse (as we do currently) and register the game - this would need Internet access to active I assume. When the game starts up, it makes a call to ImpulseSecurity.dll (similar to how the Impulse Reactor dll works) and it tells the game if it can run or not. Sure someone can hack the code to ma
Conte - you don't know what you are talking about
stardock. what the hell are you working on? just admit it, you made a poor code and now you got no idea why the game crashes all the time.
Stardock didn't WRITE the game!!!
ten bucks that this was stardocks last game.
Hello - Demigod???
And what stops us nail eating MP Sinners from targeting the ship manually, which the Ai can't do??? This just introduced a cheat for human players surely???
bump Just want to flash this one up on the forums - we continually have new players, so they should be able to "learn" Sins ettiquette :) Plus I want my name in neon lights again :)
Are you just talking about in Windows itself, or other applications? Basically its in the registry google it - first thing I found with the following key words "windows context menu editing" http://www.annoyances.org/exec/show/article02-026 What are you trying to achieve
Yes, but you just answered your own conundrum. If capital ships need to be weaker early on, keep their mitigation and damage low then. As they level up, which takes considerable time through experience farming and considerable credits through purchasing levels, increase mitigation and damage output along a balanced scale.
But they already do this!!! Armor and firepower increases with each level. One Lvl10 Kol could take 3 other caps no worries. The issue which no one ca
How about how long we have to wait for 1.1 to come out, or Entrenchment for that matter??? :) Gimme gimme gimme!!!!
These FANTASTIC ideas are great and all (not) since you all keep forgetting - early game you need to be able to take a cap down without having to have your own cap in the battle. Sure it should cost you a lot of frigates, but that is the cost of killing their free cap. Once you get to mid/late game, there is nothing the devs can do short of giving a cap god mode at Lvl10 due to the weight of numbers, and firepower upgrades etc.... If 2000 fleet points rocks up, nothing should liv
If you are playing multi-system games, research long range jumps and go to another system. Otherwise one tactic I use it to orientate towards where the better player or more numbers are (depending) and call loudly for my allies to do enough to distract the person on my other flank e.g. Go for the enemy with the arrow (>E) and let my allies worry about their exposed guy (E*) &nb
Get Sins!!!!
I'm guessing he is talking about this kind http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/land/javelin.htm Sort of weapon a soldier (marine) would carry
piropeople13 - it REALLY seems you are shouting your mouth off about something you don't seem to know much about... And I still fail to see how you get a figure of $120 for Sins including the expansions...
Hey Monk - what version are you on - I'm 1.05
Spectate would be a nice option -- maybe we will get it in a future mini-expansion. I don't think it would be too hard to implement.
The issue that would exist with it is that since Sins is P2P, and simulated on all PCs, any lag from the observation deck would also lag the players too... Shame - it would be great for people to watch battles live from the lobby
No worries. I take "Intalling 1.05 manually" to be different to "Downgrading to 1.05 manually"
I can tell you right now Hack. I am seriously lacking in SINS-skillz.......however I will gladly play a game with you (and others) and be the student.

Cykur......well I think getting spanked by you once is enough!
