Noob question about the home planet in Sins of a Solar Empire Sins Forums

When I say I am a noob,I mean it. So please advise me on this situation. Why does my home planet keep making tons of ships. I have my fleet split up in two different areas, far from the home world. I have no facilities built around the home planet to build these ships, say like battle cruisers. They just keep popping up. I mean GREEN colored, the ones that say I own them, and not the REBEL SHIPS that pop up there as well. &
