Correct me if I am wrong, but I think they said it was John Patrick Lowrie . EDIT: Found it at: http://forums.gaspowered.com/viewtopic.php?t=34941

This video was really interesting to watch, and yay for getting to meet some of the crew! I totally wish that I lived nearby to come by and take a tour. Oh, and I vote for the release of as many videos as possible! *Can't get enough of behind-the-scenes stuff*
Loving these status reports! Though my main question is if anyone has hosted that 22 minute (or however long it was) video somewhere. I totally missed it, and I love watching behind-the-scenes footage ^_^
They play to integrate VoIP into Impulse in one of the later releases. http://forums.demigodthegame.com/345381
Congrats on finishing this! It is nice to see actual players who know the actual language doing the translation ^_^
Still waiting until I can change from digital->box, but I shall be painting mine totally pink!
I am downloading the game right now, but the only help that I can offer is to used a windowed mode at the resolution. Do that by adding this to the shortcut target: /windowed 1280 720 So your shortcut target should look somewhat like: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock Games\Demigod\bin\Demigod.exe" /windowed 1280 720
"Are you feeling down from losing match after match with this demigod and that? Are you about to start rage-quitting and feel that you have no alternative? Worry not! Simply take Draginol as prescribed and you will be at the top of each game!" Before even the existence of the Progenitor were Greater Gods. They were the only beings to survive the millenia that passed after all was created by the Force of Creation, the Light of All, Scathis. Among these Greate Gods was a being
Mods were disabled during the last few stages of the beta and it is unknown as to whether they will be able to run in the retail version right at the beginning. From what I have read, it seems that mods could be one of the features that they would like to support sometime after release, but we will just have to cross our fingers right now ^_^
You will be able to play lan with computers that have the same copy installed since you won't need to login to Impulse to do so. (Unless they totally changed it, which I doubt they have.)
It was a fun and interesting beta, and I shall totally be sticking around. Thanks for the thanks, and thanks to thee!
We talked about this early last year as well, and I totally agree that when it comes to names; they should be left unchanged. They lose quite a bit when they get translated.
That was a great read! My favourite bit is the part on high-quality VoIP, which I totally cannot wait for. As far as giving an idea as to what might make Impulse better, it would be mod integration. I would like some games that don't have auto-downloading mods/maps/etc. to be able to say "Hey, you're missing a mod that this host is running. Do you want to download it from Impulse's extensive mod database?" I know that I am totally missing a million-trillion things that makes something li

Pre-ordered the game without reading anything about the game, but from what I have read by now, I am totally awaiting the first beta release! I also can't wait to find out more about the modding system ^_^
There is a big notification if you don't have matching versions/gamedata stuff, so you can easily tell whether it is a connection problem or this.
Nopers. The game do some check thing (maybe a checksum, but I am clueless when it comes to those things) and makes sure that the game data matches between players. If it doesn't match, you cannot join that other person's game.
Aww. My UI mods aren't being huggled by the game clients anymore >.> Curse ye, Beta 3E! Actually, I am fine with that, but I am hoping for some good mod support sometime following the retail release!
You don't need the mod to hear the ring. If people are spamming, then they will likely be kicked =P
I don't think any sound work when minimized, but they should when the window is just unfocused while windowed. Made a mod for it: http://forums.demigodthegame.com/343956
Have you ever entered a lobby, but the host was not paying attention to their game, so you had to way of contacting them? Well, no more! Aside from a virtual slap-in-the-face, this second-best way is sure to get their attention! (Assuming they haven't minimized the game >.>) Just download, follow the installation instructions, and you can be tooting your trumpets saying "Let's go, buddy!" with a single line of text! <table style="height: 236px;
I haven't been following anything here, but I was asked to make a quick teleportation mod that shows where the Demigod is teleporting to.
